Chy, you registered twice on accident and it automatically removes you. You have to register again.

bo3 from round1 with a 512 players format is too exhaunting, im skipping this tournament once the admins get their brain working. The rules are poorly written. If the first map is scrap station and its tied 1-1, the loser can pick scrap again...

desrow, you're seriously the only person that has been complaining about anything. Now you're doing it on TL rather than to me, if you have such a problem with the tournament, maybe you should just stop playing in it. You know as well as I do it's not a 512 tournament yet, when it gets to 512 I'll definitely be doing Bo1 for the first couple rounds, as you're right that would take the entire day, into the night, and possibly into the next day.

We've made some changes based on feedback that we're pretty excited about this week.
* Rounds 1-3 have been changed to a BO1 format. This is a change from an entire BO3 format we're trying out this week. Many of the players that proceed to the later brackets are fatigued by the time they get there due to having to play so many games. Hopefully this allows for a decent balance as BO1 isn't the best for a representation of skill, but will allow the larger rounds to proceed a but quicker. This is not necessarily a permanent change so we will remain open to feedback.
* The map pool has been changed to implement some of the iCCup maps from the monthly map pool (found: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=156351 ) We hope to implement more variety as well as balance into the map pool. Some classic blizzard maps still currently remain in the pool for those who would still like to select them.
* Some other minor rules have been clarified to address some issues that have come up in past weeks. Also, the report system has been fixed so brackets will run much more smoothly.
*Look forward to some more exciting changes in the future. If you have any feedback on the tournament please let us know either in this thread, in the SPGL forums, or message one of us directly in the SPGL chat.
