They fall completly on their ass because they have never experienced that before. They are used to controling the game, IdrA takes the game to them, and Tarson paniced. Dude, have some respect... also, maybe zerg was overpowered all the time, and terrans are the weak ones? herp derp Why ? In sports people call others out all the time. Its just a natural part when something gets competative. Stop being such a fucking pansy ass. I'll put money on you being from Bergen.
When was the last time you made $900 playing SC2.
Lay off people competing on a much bigger stage then you.
You get out in front of a large live audience with the knowledge that your game is being streamed world-wide and see if you don't make any mistakes.

if only someone could figure out how too make ground units not auto move in a huge blob then maybe protoss could join in on standing a chance against terran, anyway congratulations zerg players : )

The observer vs. turret in BW can also be considered micro then I guess. But this was considered an exploit.
Why compare it to the observer exploit? I think that this sort of muta spread is the same kind of "feature" as having mutas + overlord in 1 control group back in bw.
If this thing sticks, i think blizz did a good job holding back on buffing z/nerfing t as this thing is going to smooth out the match up nicely.

inc blizz buffing thors to make the aoe wider.

These Terran tears are hysterical.
What? My 4 Thors can't take out 20+ mutas?
When will this be getting patched?

Yeah, and it would be especially easy to see which one was targeted if you have them all spread out like that.
Also, I don't know how anyone could ever insinuate that this is a glitch. Every single air unit spreads like that when you tell them to stop and has from the start of beta.

Those hellions would have splashed anything besides roches and the maraders would have decimated those too. I am glad that a solution has been found. At the moment terran mech is not viable vs most good zergs, but I can see more players incorporating hunter seeker missiles, forward missile turrets, and stimmed marines to adapt. seeker missile is a bad spell that is slow, easy to dodge, doesn't do enough damage for its energy and research cost and to top it all off has a smaller splash radius than a baneling. Before the change to seeker missile it was a very strong spell but now it's not really. PDD + auto turret would be a better way to deal with mutas.

That being said I don't think there's an issue with thors at all so I don't know why people are talking about it

I think good players could just spread mutalisks out with micro beforehand manually. A different type of AoE, maybe like a 3 target aoe like mutalisks would be suitable.

such great games today! I am really looking forward to see Idra play Morrow. Hopefully we can see the mastermind of current SC2 go to town ZvT style.
However, there is one issue that is particularly bothering me, the lag/connection issues of SC2! Officially speaking, Nada just stopped playing because of connection issues. We saw a game delayed for a huge amount of time yesterday because of unbearable lag. And countless times throughout this tournament, we have seen lag and connection problems!
What I want to know is what Blizzard is going to do about this!? I wouldn't even mind if they designed an extra, tournament SPECIFIC way of establishing LAN connections or at least prioritizing the tournament play on their servers. You can physically SEE the distress it causes the players i.e. Idra's eyebrows being raised in a "wtf" moment when this happens. I think that these connection issues could serve as a barrier to high level SC1 players wanting to play the game (for example, Nada).

Morrow is not going to fall for this, he makes marines/vikings as we have seen. The zerg need to spread mutas vs thors but stack them vs vikings, if the terran has both they're screwed :D So it's not going to work. Going to be an interesting final match!

gotta remember to give MAD probs to Morrow, he wasn't even suppose to be there, and now he is the fucking final, impressed
also lol at the Reaper/Mutas being hated on ^^,

Two great matches today but I really loved the Idra vs Tarson match. I'm a Terran player myself but I was pulling for Idra in that match, he's the hero of SC2 at the moment :D
Final tomorrow will be amazing!

Yeah Morrow doesn't like them thors very much. That said, Idra won't be going mass muta against Morrows strategies. Personally I think Idra will be able draw the games out long enough to make his macro magic take effect. Idra 3-1 or 3-2.

haha how is that at all a bug????? the game spreads the damn things out for them as for winning with one unit if they dont have enough aa what should i get hmmmmmmm omg maybe an air unit. nope thats shouldnt be allowed people should not go air and win against thors z op!1!

I;ve heard people talking about a tournament version that includes LAN.
The GSL also said something about offline qualifiers so this may me used rather soon. I'll try to find a source.

Are there VODs of the TLO vs Nada game? I didn't see it live...
