On Steppes of war you see Morrow pull this off fantastically, stimming his marines and running around in circles while the tanks killed the banelings, and Morrow just cleaned house afterward. Then on Delta Quadrant the same thing happens, where Morrow runs his marines away from the banelings, only when he does this, Dimaga just moves in with all his lings and mutas and picks off the tanks while the marines are no longer covering them and ends up winning. It's fantastic that it can go both ways, and that it's the micro that really determines the outcome of those 2 unit compositions clashing. | ||

Because they don't need a nerf? Try putting equal gas cost mutas vs thors, e.g. 4 thors vs 8 mutas and the thors will come out ahead with at least 2 still standing even when the mutas are spread. Now add on a few SCVs for repair and marines to support and it won't even be close. Last I heard thor/hellion/marine is an excellent combination vs mutaling that's commonly used by Korean terrans. | ||

You misinterpret me. I was just pointing out how silly it was that there were so many posters laughing at terrans who said thors were underpowered/were whining, when there was only discussion on different tactics terrans could use. I mean, there wasn't any whine in the first place. | ||

And making lots of marines always has the downside of being susceptible to banelings as we have seen a lot in this tournament already. This really complicates matters, all zerg needs to completely shut down terran mech is mass one unit? Quite curious to see what Morrow has in store tomorrow. | ||

We have Roach/Hydra into Ultra,still. We had normal Muta/Ling plays too. Now it evolved into pure muta / muta/bling/infestor | ||
