His point was to compare how difficult it is to be creative with Protoss to Terran by comparing two completely disparate unit compositions to each other? Thor/Battlecruiser/Ghost, gee this is fun! | ||

Terran has like the most straight-forward easiest tech-tree ever. It's just 1 tree of rax-fact-starport, with 4 branches 1 building long (engineering bay, armory, ghost academy, fusion core) there's no real commitment to a tech tree as a terran. Zerg's tech tree is also like that but they only have like 3 different units... | ||

You can't effectively play off of a Stargate with a Robotics Facility. However as Terran you can get any cluster of Starport, Factory and Barracks units and it can work. This is the problem with "being creative": Terran units compliment one another more than Toss units do. | ||
