HDH first livestream.. so much fail... This is why I like Day9/others more, they're just so much more professional. Fail-covering the replay bar with the chat window?? Really, you guys can't do an overlay? Also stopping the stream every 5 minutes (since the games are so short) is really hosing a lot of people I think. And it doesn't help that when you stop it it goes to your old VOD where you're making zerg impressions while 7k people watch heh.
tl;dr Like the tournament setup, but coverage could really use some work!

Who cares if we don't watch the matches live, if we get spoilers, if the stream is lagging. All they care is to get us on their youtube accounts ....... looks like they're trying to get all our attention on them rather than on players/tournament. If you don't stream the games live (no real reason not to do it!!!), at least make the stream not lagging !!!! .... stream it on Orb's stream if yours doesn't work (again he had 3500viewers, streaming high quality and 0 lag). But ofc, why would they get our attention on Orb instead of them .... this is so retarded. I'm not trolling btw, just raging badly ~~~~
No reason not to stream the games live? If the games are streamed live there is no way to guarantee that the tournament players aren;t listening to the stream as they play, thus hearing the commentary and cheating (nani even accused moman of doing this in todays zotac final). I know that the players are all classy and probably wouldn't do this, but when there is a cash prize involved there should be no doubt.
Tell me you enjoy this crap now .... 7000 just people got trolled. I don't even know why so many showed up to watch these laggy spoiled replays instead of live games. All tournaments in SC2 so far were live streamed, but ofc HDH is more special cuz of the "huge" prize money (no one get's rich with 1500$ ffs). I'm telling you this was the last time some sponsor offers them money to host a tournament. And for all these who flame livestream: I bet HDH didn't informed livestream that there's gonna be a lot of viewers today. How come Day[9] or Orb's stream runs so smooth now with 3k+ viewers?? Try to get 7000viewers on these 2 streams and you'll see it's running fine. But who cares ... the goal is to get all of us on their youtube accounts.
You're a gentleman and a scholar. And pretty spoiled.
TheGunRun is one of the most clutch streamers ever. Much appreciated

But when it got really bad, he got help from Gunrun to allow the most people to watch, whereas HDH just continued streaming with about 4000 angry people looking at 404's spamming IRC and such.
