OK the Staircase is now ONLINE on EU serveur, I checked it and played.

So.. how do I keep track of chronoboost usage? And number of SBs? Just gotta look at my replays (very carefully)?

What makes this system better than vs. AI training in Swarm?
I like the new logo. And still despise way the opening post is constructed/worded. Staircase is a simple idea and the OP states it like it is some kind of rocket science.

Transcribing and slightly re-wording youtube introductory video should do the trick. Then putting old content in spoiler tags for "more interested" readers. These two things would definitely boost the accessibility.

So, assuming that we set a Platinum goal and go through all the steps and hit a roadblock, should we redo the Staircase from scratch with a higher goal or is there a way to improve after the Staircase is done? OR, should we set a Masters league goal from the start?

So, the benchmarks are set so that you should hit your league in terms of mechanics by the end. If you finish TheStaircase then your preliminary mechanics training is over. You should move on to focus on strategical training as well as specific mechanical training for your areas of weakness. If you get stuck on a certain step you may want to consider lowering the benchmark, but keep in mind that your end result will be lower the lower your benchmarks are.

When Blizzard makes balance changes to the units, those changes will take effect in custom games, but not in arcade games. This is why it must be a custom game, since it is supposed to be practice for 1v1.

this was my problem with the system as well. if I get too much energy on my queens it's because I'm not looking at them, and am therefore not aware of how much energy they have. I suppose that's kind of the point though, forcing you to actively think about your macro.

If you are injecting on time, you can check the energy of your queens using your control groups and hovering over the wireframes. Or you can click on your hatchery CG, but if you're injecting on time, you will have time inbetween when the inject finishes on the hatchery and when your queen has enough energy to inject again.

For larva inject check, I just press Shift+9 to check the progress of the inject. This way, if I miss my inject by a few seconds once and screw the energy level timing, I still have a reliable (muscle-memory-worthy) way to check the progress. In an ideal world, though, I would be checking the energy on the queens!

The downside of this method is that if your injecting is on time and you have another queen with a bit more energy, if you try to inject (let's say) your main base and natural, your natural queen (with more energy) will try to walk up to your main while your main queen will be just sitting there...doing stuff...because at the time, it didn't have enough energy for an inject! This will slow you down, unfortunately, since you have to tell your queens to go to their respective hatches!

Not perfect, but good enough to commit to muscle memory.

Edit: Shift+9 is the base camera for my main base
