I know people will say do whatever you feel is best, but whenever i see pros play probably over 50% use the setup above, it must be preferred for some reason. thanks
btw. i am in gold, i hit a wall where i can't beat high gold or platinum players regularly at all so that's why i'm doing this.. It's NEVER bad to have at least 2 hotkeys for units. It helps a lot really. However why do you change all the hotkeys ? Tbh you don't have to especially if you don't mind to add another army's hotkey (i.e 6) . And if you have a lot of troubles reaching that key then maybe put another different building on your first 3 to save the 4's hotkey ?
I know ton of good ppl using your hotkey's layout, and i dare to say it again, there's nothing wrong about it.
Hell i think I'd be really happy if I could get used to it when playing terran... Unfortunately it's really hard to get rid of the 5's hotkey for the main building...

What's a good general unit composition against in TvT? How do you deal with HTs in TvP if you scouted archives late and have no ghosts?

Hey, I have taken oh.. a good break from SC2. I stopped playing when the BW pro's started doing SC2 and BW.. so a few months ago? I'm wanting to get back into it. I play Terran, but I'm wondering. What builds do Terrans go for now adays. Also what are the popular PvT and ZvT builds right now?

TvT is still TvT, TvP you either 2 rax, 2-1-1 or the standard 1 rax CC into 3 barrack play with your medivac timing. TvZ: probably the best(?) and most standard build is the 14CC/1 rax into hellion banshee & double ebay opening.

Best solution is to not make the mistake of having no ghost acad when protoss has storm. You can do this by scouting or by planning your ghost acad timing within your build. Starting it between 10 and 11 minutes is a good time. If he's storm before colos you should have them out in time, and if he's colos first you'll have moebius reactor done well in advance of 14, when he should have storm out by.

Another thing to do is if you are constantly pressuring...go off charge. Figure charge upgrade time, even with chrono, they probably put down a Temp archives. Just get ready to get ghosts upon seeing charge.

How the hell do you deal with the rallied zealots when you play vs toss and go 1rax expo? They just bypass the bunker, or arrive 5-10 sec earlier than it is complete, and just massacre my marines. Not only that, but pulling SCVs = major losses, due to only having 1 marine. when he gets 2 zealots, it's almost game.

Because you are saying that you only have 1 marine at that time i think ou are doing the 16 CC and skipping additional marines. To defend this it depends on your micro and your bunker placement. If you could post a replay we could get better insight of the situation, because there are some informations missing. You mentions"zealots", so that means they are comming one after another? How many? Does he use chronoboost on his gateway? Do you wallin your ramp?
If you wallin your ramp and place your bunker near your CC defending the zealot pressure with 1-2 scvs and a bit of micro until the bunker is finished should deal with it easily. Even if you loose 2 scvs the loss isn´t that big of a deal because you have double mules and if he sends additonal zealots his nexus will be later than usual. However this is all theoriecrafting. Just post a replay and you can get specific advise.

well you should have more than 1 marine so...
if you're having trouble with early zealots, you need better micro. simple as that. if you're somehow having only 1-2 marines to deal with a zealot, you can pull scvs and use a hold position micro to block them. or micro the damaged scvs out and repeat

i can give it a try!
FE: 14CC 2rax 1rax FE - 3rax into port 1rax FE - 2rax into tanks fast third/ups 1rax FE - 5rax no gas
Pressure: Gas 1st 6hellion/medivac (Byun semi) 1-1-1 7marine drop + 3hellions (Hack in general) 1-1-1 hellion drop (often proxied) 3 rax - CC 2 rax conc
All ins: 1-1-1, any variations (cloack/raven/raxes) or just transitionning from one of the pressure builds mentionned 2-1-1 (Byun ro32): a fake 2rax with stim instead of conc into 1-1-1 11/11 (Keen <3): proxied ofc 3raxes (oldschool, might work against greedy opponents).
Compositions: standard bio MMM + tank (Byun vs Genius/Seed) marine/thor/banshee mech (Hack <3, lots of hellions + early ghosts)
i might do a compendium for this lol since I remember quite a lot of useful replays/vods.

I like it, it's the same hotkey layout I use. The only addition I have is Ebays on 0 and tech labs on 9 (haven't really found a good use for 8...techlab on SP?). I have 3 separate hand positions, 123+124, 567, and 890 with thumb on CTRL; I just practiced shifting between these 3 positions with the keyboard unplugged until I became comfortable with the leap.
Only additional things to add to that are camera locations F1-F6. I also am now rebinding F8 as Spacebar for my rally.
Just practice with it and eventually you'll get comfortable. If you find any particular problems, just think about rebinding keys to closer keys such as tab or the "y-h-b" column or something. You don't have to change the ENTIRE SETUP to try to use everything available to you.

What I do is just wall off my natural ramp with 3 supply depots asap or do a depot/rax/depot wall. Make sure you scout if the zealot is being chronoed early and respond by building an earlier bunker. From that point, all you need is 2 marines to deal with a zealot.
If you're having issues with zealots running into your natural mineral line, consider transferring less SCVs or just have your SCVs run around. I think the key is to make sure you still have the macro ability to make 2-4 additional barracks and continue building marines and SCVs while doing all this crazy junk. I'm 90% certain without even seeing a replay that the real problem is your macro slipping.

Does anybody have replays of a bio player winning vs mech by using nukes to force unsiege? Been searching ages but cannot find any....

Why would you need one? It's not really something that explains anything by seeing it.
What are you trying to understand about it?

How many workers should i have per patch? I'm in masters but i don't even know it..
