I guess the distance between the minerals and the ramp could be a factor as well. Is this a good build to use on Tal'darim Altar LE in TvP, I think chrono'd sentries would be weaker because of the wider choke and it being on level ground, so avoiding being kited by stalkers would be the biggest concern. | ||

In one of the TvP's I played he had a sentry but I had enough energy for a scan after my supply call down. Its a good build. | ||

I'm curious in a FE alternative (if you feel your opponent will be prepared) that turns into an marine scv all-in on 2 orbitals. You can support a lot of barracks off of that. | ||

Yes, you can get a ton of Marine/SCV off of two Orbitals and like 7 Rax, but by then your opponent can have Zealot/Sentry or Banelings or Tanks and you're sort of fucked. Sometimes for shits and giggles I'll do the low ground wall-off with a supply drop, and drop my CC at 16 and FE from there. People will often react to the low ground wall and it gives you a nice lead for your FE. But you transition into a normal game, you don't all-in later with more Marine/SCV | ||

edit: since a few people are asking, imo this build (EXECUTED PROPERLY) will get you to mid-high diamond on NA. Possibly a little higher. If you think players in plat can hold it off consistently, you aren't doing this build correctly. | ||
