The timing of his first and second gas if you can scout it. You can check the timing by clicking on the gas geyser and seeing how much gas he's mined from it (first gas is usually taken 13-15 supply, check which). Late first gas either means marine heavy early aggression or early expand (1rack FE is a common opening). Early 2nd gas means you should expect a 1/1/1 opening and prepare for banshees.
Do your best to scout the add on on his first racks. If there is one.

Question: Does the thor's strike cannon ability stack? For example, if I had 2 thors use the ability at the same time on a building, would it account the damage done for each thor?
|
I refer to this "simple" question: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=189453
it seems to me it isn't obvious to build first, then click to move the drones to mine (which seems the popular answer) .. If you build first, you are wasting the mining time of all drones, against the gain in mining time of one drone?

It ought to. It's a series of damage bursts, analogous to Yamato, not a buff like Irradiate. Shouldn't lose you a game if it doesn't work, though.
Just gonna say that I've seen this kind of thread before on Smogon, and I love the concept. Keeps the threads at a much higher quality level because there are less one-shot questions with no follow-up discussion.

What do you mean by that? What's the correct way to micro stalkers against marines?

Attack move into them... Shoot, run, shoot, run Try to outrange them as long as possible.

how many mutas should you have before you can take on a turret (without suffering too much damage)? what about 2 turrets?

Does gas stealing with your scout automatically prevent a Void Rush like it does Bancheese or is the VR build not as gas reliant early on?
|
Where did Jinro Fighting idra fighting, etc etc. come from/originate? What exactly does the phrase mean? Is it just basically showing support for said player?

Is there any consistent way to beat 4-gate without mass bunkers as Terran? If so, how?

It's just showing support for the players, I believe it's an old BW cheer.

It doesn't prevent. It delays.
Most tech-ups need a lot of gas early on, so in a sense, it does delay it marginally.

I got a Simple Question(s):
Can Fungaled Medivacs load/unload units?
Can Medivacs load up Fungaled units? If yes, Does the Fungal disappear after the unit has been loaded and immediately unloaded?

Yes, they can.
No idea about that last part.

I don't know if someone has tested this already but what happens if you fungal growth units out of a vortex? Do the units still spread? Do they stay stacked?
Also: Baneling Toilet. Awesomeness or Complete Total Awesomeness?

They spread because there can't be that many units in one specific spot.

I've read this somewhere, but I can't find it, so I'll ask and if I find it in the meantime, I'll come back and answer. When you have multiple Nexus(es) in one control group and select that group to chronoboost a couple things, I'm 99% sure it drains a particular nexus before moving on to the next, instead of spreading the usage, which is a bummer. My question is, which nexus ? The closest to where it is used ? The first in the wire-frame window ?
edit: Answer: It uses the closest nexus with enough energy, just like it does with spell casting units. Apparently it falls under the smart casting rules, although it would probably be nice if it would spread the energy usage out.
Which brings me to a second question. Is there some known logic of the ordering of the wireframe nexus in the group ? I notice when I hit 'Backspace', it doesn't seem to take me to my main after I have multiple expansions.
edit: Ok, so the 'Backspace' cycle through bases keeps track of the last base it cycled to and the next time you hit it, give you the next one, in order of when they were created, which makes sense. So, if you hit backspace for the first time, it centers the camera on your home base (it doesn't make it active, just centers the camera on it). If you hit backspace again a few minutes later, it will give you the next base you created (even if it wasn't created when you last hit 'Backspace'.
edit: Ordering of Nexus in the control group is still a mystery. I have added them in the order I created them, and my home Nexus is the middle wireframe out of 5 ... Go figure.
