If I'm playing in a team league and I want to find as much information on my opponents as possible what are the best resources to use? I know SC2Ranks just seems really dated and like it's not pulling all the most recent information. used to work a lot better like a year ago. Nios.KR gives more up to date information but not as MUCH info. Also, what are the popular replay sites that I can search on to see if there are replays/vods? I use drop.sc but I don't know about others that you can search by user ID. Want to do some full on proleague recon before my matches tomorrow :D Thanks

My Upload is way to bad to just stream via twitch but I find this a very effetctive way to improve reaction-time and decision making. I appreciate any thoughts on it <3

Pretty much all streaming stuff should be able to record local data (I think?). OBS is a better program, imo. Fraps is like a fin on your car; OBS is like a corvette.

In starcraft 2, I do not understand it. I tried stimming a marine, and there is actually a number that shows up in brackets, green text, in negative. How is it that stim gave me a negative AS, isn't it supposed to make my marines attack faster? Sorry, I was high diamond long ago but have not played this beautiful game in ages.... Thanks all! EDIT: Does it work like this: Say I have 0.8 AS. This means that every 0.8 second, I attack once.Is this how it works in Starcraft?

The "attack speed" in SC2 is based on the attack cooldown, meaning an "attack speed" of 2 takes 2 full seconds before you can attack again. The lower the cooldown, the faster the unit attacks. Attack speed in LoL is closer to DPS (damage per second).

Is there a vod of this? Or is there anywhere to find this build on text or replay at pro-ish level. Really liked it because it was a macro type build that doesn't involve stargate.

I saw at least 3 games on Overgrowth where did a 1-gate expo into 3 gate moveout with 2-3 sentries and 4 ish stalkers + Mama. To force ling and/or kill zerg 3rd. He then took pretty early 3rd and added gates and blink. Is there a vod of this? Or is there anywhere to find this build on text or replay at pro-ish level. Really liked it because it was a macro type build that doesn't involve stargate. This is more or less the strategy in question. If you want to do the blink version, just get a 3rd base before extra gateways and start a twilight council instead of a robo. It should work out, more or less, the same.

I didn't know where else to ask this as the sotg thread is 2 months gone and there's no simple question/answer on sc2 general.

I'm not entirely sure which guide you're talking about. The closest thing I can find to that is TangSC's guide to Zerg economy management. If that's not it, perhaps look through this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/sc2-strategy/284255-sc2-strategy-recommended-threads-read-second

Need to know for sure I don't need it 'cause I might change it and I want to make up some personal drills to improve in a mechanical level and not have to look over the keyboard if my fingers or thumbs feel like they are in the wrong place. lol

I noticed the hotkey has been around since BW apparently, so I don't want to change it if I don't have a good reason to do so. :/ Need to know for sure I don't need it 'cause I might change it and I want to make up some personal drills to improve in a mechanical level and not have to look over the keyboard if my fingers or thumbs feel like they are in the wrong place. lol First and foremost, you should always set up your hotkeys in the best way that makes you feel comfortable. That said, I got rid of the last alert hotkey and replaced it with a camera locations hotkey (on spacebar). There's just so much happening in SC2 that it's not really a useful key, imo (whereas it was a great hotkey in WC3 because everything was super slow).

And most of the time just marines surprisingly works, but i feel i'm ready to start incorporating other units and I was wondering what would be a good unit to start supplementing my marines with and how it would affect things?
