In a lot of cases it might have been better to throw down the CC before getting extra production facilities, but that can be hard to sense out all the time. You see it a lot PvP where both players go for a defensive 4gate and then throw down a robo after no rush comes. Yeah I thought about throwing it down before hand, and even tried it but it significantly reduced the size of my push, and it interferes with the build too much. I tried to transition into mech as well instead of the CC but I have found my main was over-saturated, and was thinking it would be better to expand anyway, to gain the advantage from the damage my push causes. Is there something I need to do differently?

That might be the automatic answer for 99% of questions asked about improving. But in this case it's just that: you can hold the button down (I think it's f) and then just click really fast. No need to press f repeatedly.

PvZ: Warpgate tech finished at 5:50. He had 1 stalker and 2 zealots. 19 probes but one died (the one who scouted and built proxy pylon) PvP: Warpgate tech finished at 5:25. One stalker, two zealots, 20 probes. Main difference here was more chrono boost on WG tech. By about 5:45, he gets a round of units out and has 1 zealot and 5 stalkers. PvT I dont have anything of Naniwa and I dont really want to go hunt out a PvT four gate. Overall, I'm pretty sure you cant have that many units by that time. But with three chrono boosts on WG tech you can finish your first round of units by about 5:40 - 5:45 and have close to that.

I should have learned how to 4 gate when i first started teh game instead of just practicing macro ^O^ also idk why you'd say you can't have that many units at that time when i've been doing it while I practice :| I guess people do a 13 gate usually? http://img688.imageshack.us/f/4gate.jpg/ (cyber core should be at 17 supply, i didn't chrono it for a bit just to balance out the timings.. actual time is in the top right)

I am a bit of a noob, but from what I know it has to do with the common early-game apm spamming. If there's some more subtle, tricky use, I sure don't know it. Another reason I can think of is that it's nearly impossible to miss your key for the CC if you've got it set to pretty much all of them, but I doubt a pro player like Jinro would have any trouble with that kind of thing.
