The answer to both questions depends on your MMR. A high masters player will almost always fight a masters, but a low masters might fight diamonds frequently.

You get an extra drone in 15 hatch, as well as getting more minerals since the drone you would normally use for the 14 hatch is mining for another 17 seconds.

what is *in general* the best reaction build, or builds, if you scout a zerg building a 14 hatch? offensively and economically? thanks

i live in europe and play on the NA server on a (relatively fast) wireless network. However, my PvZ 3gate sentry expand always loses to zergling allins, as i cannot place force fields in the latency. are there any pressure based expand builds that are good PvZ, and dont rely on perfect forcefields? thanks

2 vikings per collosus is a good rule of thumb. You need to remain active with your vikings to look for opportunities to snipe one or two misplaced collsus; you cannot simply mass vikings and only use them at the time of battle.

I personally feel when I'm playing that 3 vikings per collosus is generally good considering the more you have of vikings the quicker their collosus goes down giving your (should be upgraded) MM a longer survival time and more chance to do damage, after I've killed his main collosus numbers I just use some vikings to scout and stop producing them.
I've got a question regarding Terran matchups in general. When you're maxed, is it perfectly acceptable to only ever scan and not to mule unless you need to flood with more units? I've been using scans a hell of a lot recently and I feel it helps, but what's better to do when you're maxed?

It depends on the matchup. In TvP it's usually marauders w/ either concussive shells or stim; TvT it's usually a reaper fast expand; and in TvZ it can mean a number of things but probably reaper FE.

I wouldn't assume its a FE unless you scout it tho. It could just be a fast stim timing push.

If you get gas before rax as Terran, you can get your factory faster since you'll have 100 gas as soon as the barracks is done. Although, your cc energy will be lower due to the later barracks. Assume higher tech. Could mean a variety of things.

If you already have the tech, Banshees are better because they can actually fight in your main army. Also they are much easier to escape with. Reapers simply cost too much gas, but it's usually the only option in the early game. I've seen people try and mass reaper harass but it ends up leaving you with a weak army. Short answer: Banshees.
