Is it possible to catch up economically or should I all-in? What's good all-in to counter this? The best response to this is what you will be doing next game. If you're just doing something on your side and suddenly go "oshi, he has his expo up!", you're already behind and your strategy is obviously not working. You should always aim at either constantly scouting him and plop down your expo at the same time as his, go for a timing attack that will either outright kill him if he expands, or at the very least let you get a safe expand behind it, or try to get an early expo down yourself. If you already find yourself in this position, you can choose to either go allin, take an expo and play from behind (quite possible if he's being passive. Or you can also take a quicker third and try to get back into the game this way, or go for massive endgame tech and turtle up..both very dangerous if he decides to attack), or try to harass him back to your level with DTs, drops or phoenixes (You should still expand behind harasses. Its going to be quite safe considering he will lose everything if he decides to move out)
I see, thanks. Most of the time I'm clueless in PvP, but I'm starting to get comfortable with stargate tech and using phoenixes to harass while I macro. In the other matchups I have a real plan that gives me a good solid early expo, but I still have a fear of expanding in PvP. I guess I should try to find a good opener that uses a stargate and gets me an expo and also work on scouting more.

Is the extractor trick worthwhile to use? Why some pros use them while the others dont?

Mostly stylistic. There has been many "studies" on the subject and I believe the result was an extra drone in the case of an early pool (which can be quite significant). Outside of that, it really doesn't contribute much to your build.

In that case, does 14 pool 15 hatch count as early pool?

No. Early pool is like 13 and below. Standard pool timings are 14+. You're getting to greedy pool timings around 30-40 supply.

TvP
If I 1 rax FE and scout some sort of expand with dts how do I react? I make turrets, but when do I push? do I push with a raven? When I scouted this I had 5 marines.
Thanks

Is there a way to tell the difference from a gateway, stargate, robo(when it's building obviously).

Quick question. i heard somewhere that during Muta vs Muta fights you can reduce damage taken by the glave bounce by having a small hand full of units underneath the battle? True or False?

Fairly sure this is true. Mutas obviously prioritize attacking other mutas over lings or overlords, but I don't think glaive bounce has attack priority, so bringing along lings or ovies to fight will soak up the bounce damage and could swing the odds in your favor in a very close fight.

I think clicking on them is the only well to tell.

Two quick questions :
1. Why do the CC/nexus/Hatch have 24/24 as the correct saturation level indicate when for 8 mineral patches it should be just 16/24 (2 per chunk not 3 ) ? Isnt this just 8 probes going around doing nothing ?!
2. As toss, the select army key (f2) takes your obs as army untis (hence it moves away from an important enemy scout location point to your army base) but does NOT take the Mothership Core ...wtf?! Can this be changed?

Cheers!
I can't help with the second part of your question but here is what I believe to be a complete list of changes between WoL and HotS.

Hey friends.
Is mmr separate for 1v1 in different regions?
Do you have to reselect the templar or ghosts every time you storm or emp?

1)16 is optimal saturation. Up to 24 will still provide you benefit for the additional 8 workers, but not as much.
2) maybe they changed it. Last time I played toss, it selected the mothership core and 0bs. No, there is no way to change it. Using that f2 key is tempting, but can hurt you if you become too dependent on using it instead of splitting up your army.

1. Yes, MMR is separate between different regions.
2. No, as long as you don't deselect them by left clicking on an enemy unit.

Ok, I've asked this twice already with no response: is there a hots version of yabot or another modified ladder map that has a restart capability? When I say that I mean after either one player winds or a certain amount of time etc. you have the option to start the game over from the beginning.
If this isn't in the right thread and that is why it hasn't been answered can someone please kindly direct me to the right one.

Usually when people doesn't answer, its because they don't know. I have been looking for the same myself, but I can't be sure there isn't one buried beneath the thousands of custom maps out there. The blizzard search engine is kinda shit after all.

Any custom map that is good for practicing multi pronged attacks/drops?
