Against Ling-bling-muta a few hellbats would be able to soak up some bling hits due to their higher HP and they are stupid good against lings. The only one of those units that would be a threat to the hellbat would be mutas. However the hellbat can soak up a lot of muta hits and would be able to take a lot of the rebound damage off the rines who would be able to kill the mutas. They also have a lot of HP and are fairly big (meaning they are more spread out) making fungal less effective. If the zerg went with extra mutas and not as many ling-bling then you could add on a thor or two in response. Also, they benefit from tank upgrades. However, I never really see a terran do this. Is there any reason that I am not seeing? Is it simply too expensive or something? Does it have to do with upgrades in some way?

That way they can't heal or run away. Granted if the medivac is too well defended you will have to go after the marines first.

My big question: What are some of the best places to watch the pro's play? I was trying to find stuff on Life and Zoro since I play zerg but it was harder than I thought. I know about twitch, some youtube channels, and gosu but I wanted to check before I paid for that site. Thanks ahead of time.

SC2 is my first RTS game ever and for as daunting as the game seemed at first, this community sure helps a hell of a lot. Just got promoted to gold after a little less than a month thanks to you guys. My big question: What are some of the best places to watch the pro's play? There is a small subscription fee for vods though.

Don't over do it. Focus on a good concave, and try to let the marauders soke as much damage as possible! If you are a micro god you can split out of storm, but for us (me) mortals its easier to just run out of them!

I hate this stupid system. 3 days ago I was matching all mid masters with 800 + pts. Now, after a small break and 100 bonus pool, I match 2 golds, 2 plats, 2 diamonds. I got 932 pts in Masters. Like wtf wtf wtf. You CAN play like that, but you will have some problems in tvz. Since you got no helions, you can be all inned+ have no map control. The pros mix in your build rarely, but not standard at all. In tvt, it's hard to go gasless these days due to reapers. In tvp, it works great. I like to follow up with a 2 base all in. If you're planning it a third, squeezing it out before the factory is better since it will pay off quicker and your late game will be stronger.

Its perfectly possible to guess with fairly accuracy what mmr you are with programs such as sc2gears.
