There is no "counter" to drops. You could go mass air, which removes the option to drop almost entirely, but that is an unrealistic solution within the metagame, circulating back to the original premise that there are no counter to drops.
You can DEAL with drops -- rather, deal with them correctly as to minimize losses so that they're cost inefficient to the Terran and put you ahead. But with such a vague question, you're only going to get vague responses outlining general concepts to stopping drops. You might better be served offering a more specific question on drops if you weren't looking for general advice on drops.

Don't know if it the right place to ask, but on the other hand I am even less sure if it deserves new thread.
Recently I read and watched all sorts of stuff about how to get into Master or Diamond league - I am EU Plat and it seems I stuck there. Majority of this "guides" say that to get into low Master (maybe with the exception of KR ladder) you just have to macro and build workers. Like, if you can max at 14/15 minute mark it is almost enough to be better than most people in Diamond and even low Master. But from my own experience, I play from the day of SC2 premiere, I would say that scouting is way more important and also much harder. I can macro decently, but usually I lose because I don't know what my opponent is doing or I misjudge what I see. I play Terran, but quite often I watched Stephano, when he streams, because he always comments on what he sees and how is he going to react. Watching him makes me think that SC2 is so easy.
How do you think guys? Insane, precise macro or perfect scouting and reading opponent? You could say both, but remember I am only Platinum, my multitasking is limited.

You pretty much answered your own question right there. If you lose because you react in the wrong way or make a bad decision, not because you are floating 1k/1k and have a lot less supply than you should, then it is scouting you need to work on.
Overall, I'd suggest not over-focusing on macro. Sure, you need a certain level of it, but I'd rather know at a good time that my opponent is going mutalisks in PvZ than have a few more workers. Just play your build, macro-wise, try to do it as smoothly as possible, scout and adapt. Or you can be the aggressive one that forces a certain playstyle upon the opponent. It depends on your playstyle.

I have been wondering this for a while now. For zerg, is it better to spam a bunch of hatcheries late game so that you don't have to care about having not enough larvae for remaxing? Most of the time I found I have extreme amounts of minerals left over and I don't know what to do with them when I am maxed.

Is there a way to see Heart of the Swarm ladder rankings? I am interested to see the current standings. If not online, can someone with a beta key post it?

Is there a description of the tvt match up? Not a specific build but an understanding of the match up.
I suck at tvt and want to understand it more. Thanks

Can a Missile Turret on the low ground fire at an Overlord floating over high ground if no flying units are there to spot it?

The short answer is No.
Nothing that is placed on the lower ground can't shoot anything at the high ground/above the high ground when there is no vision of other units, buildings, scans or anything else you can make up.
Except for Colossi.

Is there a map to test builds on? Something where I can easily restart without exiting/entering the game, maybe even safe entries so I can do multiple builds and compare the results to see which is better at specific times?

Can someone give me an update on how Flash plays SC2? What are his go-to strategies, and so on. It would be much appreciated. Cheers!

Flying units that attack from highground are visible from the low ground and can be attacked (with the exception of broodlords i believe).

I suck at FFE against zerg. The first unit I build is always a zealot, but should the second unit always be a sentry?

No. It depends on what build you're doing, and what you've scouted. It's nice to get a stalker out to chase out or kill the overlord in your base, and clear the watch tower of zerglings without speed. It also creates more uncertainty for the zerg player.
If you have trouble with stuff breaking down your wall in the short window before you have a forcefield available, remember you can always put pylons/gateways in the hole to block entry and protect your cannon.

Basically if you pylon scout and see gas, you should get a sentry next, if not, you can get a stalker out and pressure with zealot stalker.
