A little bit too much generic... i also don,t believe a "safest" build exist because each build has their own pros and cons... If you rafine your question a bit you will give us an easier time to answer it.

Because I see people say to get a 3rd while attacking, but surely getting additional raxes is a viable option too? And we all know that vs Zerg and Protoss late game, we "must not let them get to late game situation" EDIT: What I said up there, basically means if I should get my 3rd and go to long macro game or not. hence the "must not let them get to late game situation" But adding rax, and playing on 2 bases sounds desperate lol

Adding rax is more aggression and more all-in-ish, but at a certain point adding rax doesn't help, because if your production exceeds your economy, it's just wasted minerals. I think if you're more than 7 rax, you're entering all-in territory. And late-game Protoss is definitely possible to fight, you just have to land good EMPs, engage in favorable positions, have map control (sensor towers help), and so on. If you really don't like late-game TvZ or TvP, just be aggressive with your drops. Again, I'm gold protoss, so everything I say could be wrong haha.

I just was promoted to gold leauge and I am at 15th position and If I lose some games with silver players or these ones from higher palces than me in gold divison will I be degraded to silver leauge? You have some leeway as your MMR already stabilized in gold and you're matched against other players with similar MMR.

Do you simply wait for one so they sync up? Otherwise, the method does not seem worth it to use. I'll describe to you my inject method and maybe it will help you out (hopefully) 1st i rebinded the action of cycling through bases to the left ALT key and i hotkey all my injecting queen's to hotkey 6. Then i do 6, v, shift (hold it down), and spam alt and click my middle screen since it always bring my hatch to the middle of my screen. I don't care if it's injecting or not, i just spam click and spam ALT. Over the course of long games, since i'm not set up like clockwork my injects will stabilize out and become synched, but if you do this at and or around every 20-25 sec you can manage off-synched hatchs as it takes mearly a second to cycle through your bases. The advantage of going blindly like that is you remove the need to get the information on if it's already injected and then make the decision. If you have a queen at all your hatches your queen won't go on a pilgrimage to another hatch. Just make sure if you are harassed / dropped to remake and rehotkey the queen or else everything will be fucked up Hope this helped

I haven't played or watched much in a few months due to finals etc. Playing Protoss, how viable are these three builds currently? PvZ HerOic FFE (4gate +1 Zealot pressure -> some transition) PvT MC 1Gate expand -> Colossus PvP 3gate blink robo Are there any major metagame shifts recently that have made any of these builds particularly ineffective or risky? I'm not at the highest level so I don't mind ignoring subtleties that appear only towards the top of the ladder in favor of not having to learn new builds, I'm just asking for significant reasons to avoid these.

Can you recommend any currently-viable builds that are somewhat similar? I really liked the fast gateway-pressure aspect of it, so is there anything out there with a similar feel to it? You pretty much win shortly before their hive tech is ready, so you have to actively scout for the hive!

Well your natural should never really get blocked by an Ebay. Generally you want to hatch first as going pool first really offers no advantage in ZvT. Simply scout well to make sure you're not being two raxxed. You may die to it a few times going hatch first, but in the long run you'll be a better player for it. ZvP blocks at the natural are a much more common problem. If it's a two player map and you know where he's spawned your OL should get to his natural in decent time to see if he's dropped a gateway or not. If he went forge or nexus first you can go ahead and expand to the third assuming you dont get blocked there. A lot of the times when you send your drone from the nat to the third location they cancel the pylon there so you can also try faking an attempt at expanding to third and then sending another drone from your mineral line down to natural. But that doesn't always work out. If it's a four player map or you dont know if he's going gateway first then generally it's safer to just kill the pylon and expand to natural. Also I feel that it almost goes without saying, but watch for cannons if you expo at third. Hope this helps let me know if you want me to clarify anything ^_^

Potential for warp prism play should keep me pretty well entertained and presumably its not too hard to transition into a 4th (at my level). Now that you mention fourths...I remember now that in the daily he exclaims that you go FFE -> 3 or 4gate blink -> 3rd base + robo + DT -> 10gate immortal/sentry with DTs -> fourth base -> end the game Despite being a 4base style, it seems VERY all-in, being that you never get stargate or templar tech for mothership/HT/archon with an air army, which is undoubtedly the most unbeatable army in the game. So yeah, win the game before GGlords and you'll be fine! From my experience, in any league below masters it's worth having a probe scout around your own main to achieve full vision, and build ~3-4 cannons total at your front if you suspect ANY aggression. Low-level zergs suck and just all in every game C: In all honesty I'm interested in a practice partner against any protoss styles, my old partner had to go to the hospital O.o
