Your focus is to maintain air superiority and use the Voids to kill off Corrupters and then the ground army of the Protoss while also protecting your Colossi, which you should be microing to keep alive. (this is a bit vague, and situational) I think before the patch I worked out an infestor could kill an overlord with 3 eggs, but the overlord could run away depending on how close they were to a cliff and if you had a OL spotting. I just thought of the observer killing, since FG would bring it out of cloak. If you can manage to get the kill, then yes mostly. If you see an impending attack, it's better to save the energy for using it on the enemy army, but if you're turtled in nicely, it's a free kill and denies further scouting. Energy is renewable so it's basically a kill at almost no cost. Definitely worth it for an observer, situational for an overlord. It does have a very unique timing...xD On March 29 2011 19:05 GER.Timmay wrote: Question: I played in Warcraft 3 TFT as a Human Player. Which Race do i choose in SC2 to play like a Human in WC3? It's really hard to compare WC3 races with SC2 races because the games are different in so many aspects....that being said, I don't know too much about WC3 honestly so I'd play Random a bit until you find your favorite.

I just thought of the observer killing, since FG would bring it out of cloak. Observer would be easier to kill, so you can definitely kill it with fungal and infested terrans. By the way, visit this: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=193058 It's MrBitter's proposal on skipping mutalisks for infestors. In one of the replays (all are pre-patch 1.3 btw), he used two fungal growths and two infested terrans to kill drops from a terran player. It was pretty amazing, and probably did better back then because of the increased stun time. But now, it could be more deadly, because of the bonus damage that fungal growth has vs. armored units. Either way, I suggest you read the thread.

So to rephrase my question - players that stay for a long time in a league will have more trouble leaving it than players that don't have many games, since the uncertainty is bigger for the latter? i'm fairly certain it doesnt change whether you've played 100 or 1000. i think it basically takes the MMR from your last 20ish games, and ignores any before that

Im afraid if i expand too quickly and tech, he will attack with voids before i've sufficient tech to come back. 2) In PvZ, if i 3gate sentry expand, wats the best response to baneling busts?? I get contained by them before i can even expand sometimes! 3) What is the best way to use FFs in: - PvT MMM balls - PvZ Roach/hydra/corruptor balls? Would appreciate help on these questions. If its not a 'simple question' let me know so i can post it to the more appropriate thread. Thanks TL

Edit: Chance is that my profile will show me as Random after the reset but I don't count on it.

What does "ee han" mean? ee han timing = "this one timing" basically a timing you have to hit to be able to drastically change the tides, like how jaedong was in a bleak situation but he hit the timing right before stork had hit critical mass of corsairs to render scourge ineffective and won the game.

Then I started playing Random and am asking myself how long it'll take to get the ladder to "lock" me as random player. Is it when I played 900 games, when I've won more than 500 games with random OR when my random wins exceed my Zerg wins (this would be awful since every 1/3 of my wins with random will be with Zerg... Edit: Chance is that my profile will show me as Random after the reset but I don't count on it. The reset wipes out ALL of the games from the previous season from your record, and is archived somewhere (Blizzard has specified where in one of those blogs). If you play Random now, it will show you as Random.

Like mentioned above it is hard to compare: BUT let me tell you my story, maybe that will help you: I started to play Orc in RoC then switched over to Humans in TFT and was pretty successful with both races ladderwise. In SC2 I started as Terran in the beta, but switched to Z on release and was doing ok with zergs in the last months (mid Diamond in 1v1 and 2v2). I enjoyed both races a lot, but Terran is much more similar to what you are used from TFT-Humans. So I reccomend you to check them out first.
