If you produce units instead of drones in the early game you'll be too far behind in econ to recover if your initial attack doesn't kill or seriously cripple your opponent. Hence all-in. I don't really see how you can contain anyone early-game as zerg, especially not without falling behind in econ which means you're losing by stopping your opponents expo.

2. Suppose you fool around with banshees or drops or something (i.e. something other than a tank push). TvT opponent is somebody aggressive, who just forcefully pushes marine-tank-medivac-viking along with constructing turrets right in your face, including in your nat in early game (and even ravaging his base doesn't give you any real gain). Is it time to QQ or can you improvise a defence and still win in the long run after cleaning that push? Or do you, in the case of banshees, wait for his push and intercept it before he can erect turrets with the SCVs he brought along with him? Also: big thanks for answers to my previous questions. Thank you guys, hope you get to grandmasters.

I heard some stories how he is a random player, grandmaster, but i don't know what is the truth... If he plays, how come he doesn't stream it, because of so many fans that would like to watch him play? I was thinking about it a little, and can't figure out on my own why is he hiding while playing? Does he think if someone sees him loose a game everyone will start think that he's full of shit as a caster or what? Really strange that person who would get like 15 k viewers and dedicated his life to sc2 doesn't stream his games.

Seen a few guys do it and wanna know if it's any better at all or if it just breaks even. I don't know where exactly the proof is, but the general consensus is that a 9 overlord is better than 10 overlord with extractor trick, but the 10 overlord with extractor trick is safer against cheeses.

http://footmenfrenzy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=47 I don't know how to attach files on this site. Yes my opponent was doing some stupid, but I wasn't that far behind in economy right?

If he'd done anything at all like he was supposed to have done you would have been dead quite soon... He got one gate that wasn't doing anything, then a forge and a cannon without expanding, followed by two stargates that didn't finish, and no warpgate research. This must be his first game ever. There is absolutely no way you can do what you did and stay alive against anyone who knows how to play even a little bit, sorry ![]()

1) How many drones do I need to support a roach-ling allin without ever wasting a larva? (i.e. larva limited, resources may build up slightly) With: a) 1 hatch, 1 queen, 1 gas b) 2 hatch, 1 queen, 1 gas c) 2 hatch, 1 queen, 2 gas d) 2 hatch, 2 queen, 2 gas

I can keep working at the timings. In that replay, I had too much larvae. If I expend some larvae into drones per every batch of roaches, its still economical and I can transition into standard play after my aggression. If my opponent instead retaliates, which I hope he will I want a GG not some boring long game, then I still have larvae and minerals to pump roach/ling.

Either have the PF on a separate hotkey or just click on its icon.
