Zay With multiple units in a control group, you have to hit TAB to switch between unit abilities. For example, if you have sentries and stalkers in a control group 1 and you want to blink your stalkers up a cliff, you hit 1, then TAB, then b and click where you want to blink.

Yes i know this but my question is why cant all the abilities just be on the same page rather than requiring tabbing

For terran, hunter seeker missile and snipe share the same hotkey, as does EMP and siege mode. For protoss, feedback and forcefield also share the same hotkey.

Just hotkey casters on their own control groups. If you ask this kind of question i'm sure you don't use all 10, and can spare 2 for casters.

You need to TAB, as already stated. In the case you mention, however, you most likely want to ctrl-click the stalkers to control them separately anyway as you're blinking them away from the sentries in order to give them a better attack angle or bypass an army, and you don't want to try and move your sentries through that army in order to join up with the stalkers again.

You can see that info on Liquipedia, but the answers are:
Hatchery is +2. Nexus is +10. Command Center is +11.

Hey guys i was looking for a thread i saw a while ago but couldnt find it.
It was about a possibility to change Starcraft II settings so that when u hold any button on your keyboard (for casting a spell or making a unit), the game will wait less longer before repeating the order very fast. For instance, if I hold A, there will be a first marine, then the game is going to wait something like one second before starting the second marines, then he'll start making the next marines really fast. The post i'm looking for was about the possibility to turn that second into half a second or whatever time u wanted. But seems you cant do that with basic settings menu.
edit: could it have something to do with ur computer or keyboard settings instead?
So basically if anyone has the information on how to do it, would be great to share Thank u

What you're looking for is in the keyboard settings in your OS, not in the game.

In ZvZ , how should I react, when opposing player is morphing his dronescout in a Spinecrawler?
|
TvP, many P are going early double forge upgrades lately... from the T perspective, it seems like they usually start out with only 1 engineering bay, then after attack finishes build another ebay and armory. especially considering chrono, this seems like it puts T behind a lot in upgrades early/middle game... basically my question is why not build both ebays early (if you feel safe) and try to keep up? obviously twilight council is easier to get than armory because it contains vital P tech upgrades but it's still only a small investment in exchange for staying near-even in upgrades, doesn't seem like it would set you back far

If there is no ling support from an early pool build, immediately pull 3 drones to attack the morphing spine crawler. If you scout it late, then pull 4 or 5. I there is ling support, try to stall for your spawning pool to finish. When it does, build 1 or 2 spines, build a queen and as many lings as possible. Try to kill the spine before it finishes, but if it does, try to kill the lings and then break the spine(s)

When playing bio in a TvP, it is extremely important that you stay even or ahead on upgrades.

Why can many people just go Mutas im ZvP? Wasn't the problem that previously Zerg would die against any 2 base all-in?
|
whats the best way to defend expos as protoss in pvz?
build a ton of cannons? wall of with gateways? build no defenses and prepare to rebuild a lot? sim city?
what about pvt?
cannons in mineral lines? leave some forces nearby? ....mass phoenix?
thanks.

Zergs are gradually getting mutas instead of rushing them. They make some roaches first, force robo tech, then go mutas after. Roach ling kills 2 base all-ins.

Just how viable is Mech vs Protoss?

Incredibly hard to do successfully. Immortals kill factory units SO quickly.

Hi,
my simple question is:
do i still have to make harvesters, if my base (mineralline+gas) is saturated and my expansion (nexus, command center, hatch) is not yet started.
plz dont answer: always make harvesters! (this is simply not true) or get ur expansion up before ur base is saturated! (this does not anwer the question)

If you're planning on expoing: Yes.
All-in: No.

That question is a little subjective... You never "have" to make workers. Decide based on your aggression, whether you want to go allin, and how many harvesters you already have.
It won't do you any good on your mineral field YET, but it will later.
