They should be the first thing you do, or a close second to stimming your army. If you are having trouble getting them off sometimes hotkeying a group of ghosts separately can be helpful, additionally scanning and moving up with a ghost to preemptively EMP sentrys/templar is very powerful. If you are facing against a big collossi army emps become less important than splitting up your army to minimize splash damage but they still need to be layed down as quickly as possible.

I've had it disabled but somehow it is back and it really distracts me... i have all graphic settings on low except textures (high) and effects (med).

I see these guys that say there TvP is 30% and TvZ is 70% and i haven't been able to find any stats like that. I potentially could record my own winnings and figure it out myself or even guess, but thought I should ask before I waist my time.

I believe they're either making up numbers (most of the time) or using the Sc2Gears tool which can analyse replays and provide you with the information.

In other words, if i see him making a ton of zealots, is it acceptable to make a bunch of marauders and ghosts and try to stutter step? Marauders do not fare very well against zealots because marauders are made to take down high hp targets, not lots of low hp units like chargelots. Ghost's EMP ability is great against both archons and zealots, so a marine heavy bio/ghost composition will defeat the chargelot/archon composition much easier.

Not only the slow attack speed, but marauders straight up do half as much damage to light targets as they do to armored, in terms of just damage you're better of having 2 marines in their place against chargelot archon as long as you can keep them alive.

The first game was sheth (i think) vs a korean terran. the terran spawned in the north and sheth spawned in the bottom right. The terran did nothing but make marines and play very zerg-like the whole game until sheth typed gg. The second game i think also had a korean terran. The terran spawned in the north and the zerg spawned in the bottom right again (pretty sure different maps). The terran immediately lifted off and went to the gold base. He made marines while the zerg scouted it and then kept attacking with marines while expanding to the lower gold base. The terran eventually won. The zerg player might be idra. someone plz link me these games. thnx.

It's more cost-effective than a burrowed unit to delay an expo, and people don't scan their own expos unless something is blocking...

But no, it wouldn't make you instantly better. You might eventually become better because your mechanics would be a little more refined, but that isn't entirely dependent on playing brood war. Just keep playing sc2 and try to play faster/cleaner every time you play.
