It depends on what else the protoss has and what build the protoss is doing. If he's doing 3 gate expo or 2 gate robo it's perfectly fine not to have a nexus down yet at 6:00, whereas if he was 4 gating you he'd be at your door by 6:00. Unfortunately this all comes down to "game sense" and just takes a lot of experience.

I've been having a lot of problems in fighting in TvP. I have a big Bio Ball of: Marauders, Marines. I also have some ghosts (maybe 5) as well as Medievacs and Vikings for colossi. However, When the Protoss goes zealots (quite a lot of zealots), stalkers, and colossus, I do not know how to fight. I EMP, try to snipe out the colossi and everything, but I can never win. How am I supposed to fight the Protoss in this situation?

How am I supposed to fight the Protoss in this situation? you probably want to kite zealots with MM while vikings stay and focus colossi. but really with MMMVG and equal army supply you shouldn't lose to z/s/colossus unless he is far ahead in upgrades.

If the Colossi were firing the entire time you were sniping them, chances are they'll have done enough damage by the time they're all dead. Pull your bioball back and kite the Zlots while kite your Vikings back slightly less (preferably in another direction with some terrain to block ground) and shoot the Colossi.

For 2):
12 Gate 13 Gas 15 Pylon @100% Gate: Cyber Core @75 Minerals: 2nd Gas @100% Cyber Core: Twilight, Warp Tech @100% Twilight: Dark Shrine 2x Gates whenever
Is about as fast as you can go and not cut Probes or completely cripple yourself. You should have just enough gas to accomplish each step, and be able to warp 3 DTs. If the gas isn't lining up well for you, you can opt for Gas then Gate.
You'll need help defending yourself earlier on, though.
Warp Prism slows the DTs by 100 gas, it's better to just proxy Pylon with a team-mate spotting high ground with Overlord/Scan. Better yet, just walk them in, as there'll be at least one person who doesn't prepare for DTs blindly.

Worse than +1 Bio- you'll have way more Marines than Tanks at that time. Tanks are mainly for shooting Banelings, which will die in 1 hit regardless of upgrades.
Question: I notice Empire.kas use almost exclusively Marauders lategame in TvP and forgoing Marines entirely. Is it because of the increased durability to AOE? And is it worth the trade in DPS (I'm thinking of mass Chargelot being the main problem)? Or is it for some other reason entirely.

Regarding MM ratio, go very very marauder heavy, even 100% marauders is fine. That way you can kite all their zealots; their colossi and HT won't be able to catch up, so it'll be marauders vs Zealots.

Untill protoss gets speed. Mass speedlots will always beat mass marauders.

Even then, marauders do well. And if protoss wants to go after them then he needs to commit each time he turns his zealots away, so it's a bit riskier on the protoss side.

then he "hides" the unit composition, and by the time you realize 6 minute's are past and he is not expo-ing, there are 2 dts on your expo.
This is why opening with agressive build are OP. Yes, OPer than "defensive" or macro oriented.
2 rax -> you end up with a free 2 rax and an expansion + you can do damage
roach warren at 20/28 or 28/28 -> you end up with a free roach tech, plus you can do damage. If he FFEs you can do damage. If he stays on one base (aka contain) you'll have better econ (if you dont overcomit and make 12 lings). The 7 roaches can defend stupid DT or 4gates he could be doing. And you force him to show the unit composition.
However If you opened standard, protoss can be safe to do cheesy things, like dt expand or a 4gate. And you'll have to GUESS what protoss is doing. Or sacrifice a overlord at 4 minutes to see the unit composition or tech. If the map is big you can see none.
Why pros don't hide their unit comp? I fucking love when I see 4 sentries stacked at toss's ramp.

Depends on what you teched to. If it's a very fast roachling push, you'll need to scout it, add cannons and delay with FFs. If you teched stargate, get a voidray out ASAP to handle the roaches.
If you added more gates or a robo after your FFE, add some cannons, get your units out (get immortals and focus on stalkers and sentries), and micro well.
In any case, you'll need good FFs and good sim city to keep roaches from breaking your wall or reaching your cannons. Use FFs to plug holes in your wall if your buildings fall
