The easiest way to defend against this push is with siege tanks of your own, but if you already have 3 rax and only 1 gas, then try to intercept his push en route to your base and attack when his tanks are unsieged. With a little focus firing, you should come out vastly ahead.

How do I improve alone? I have no one better than me to teach me, learning from pro-replays is hard because I cant explain things like "what do I do when someone makes 60 drones and masses lings vs normal TvZ", "Why did I lose this"
How do foreigners become pro gamers? Spammings games does not help at all.

Unless you're high masters..and even then, I would start watching the Day9Dailies. They are incredibly helpful, and even teaches you how to teach yourself
Other than that, rummage this forum for strats, watch pro replays and streams (which you're already doing. I personally play 2x better right after watching a pro player stream), and generally focus on getting better. Just playing massive amounts of games will not yield you any other results than experience.
Coaching lessons can be valuable too, if you're willing to put in the money. There are also a few coaches willing to do it for free on this very forum. The search bar is your friend

Watch your replays and observe when you have too much or too little production, and if your worker and supply production is consistent (if you're Zerg, observe the speed of saturating each new base instead). Work to improve your production and economy while engaged in heavy micro situations (ie. while harassing). Your macro can always improve. If you look at the difference between Koreans and foreigners, its that they always know what and when to spend their resources. Even the highest GMs float while doing pushes at times, and that can translate to a weaker reinforcement wave and slower remax.
Also worth noting is how diligent your units are being (ie. are your blue flame Hellions sitting at base, are your Mutalisks idling). Highest level Starcraft II has no downtime during a game for players past the two minutes.

Any advice on the mechanics of setting up siege tank lines?
I try to un-siege and then shift queue move and a siege, but half the time this just un-sieges the tank and re-sieges it right where it was. So I resort to un-sieging a tank, waiting while it un-sieges, then moving it and re-sieging it manually. Then I do this for every tank, which takes a long time and is very micro intensive. What could I do better?

I'm trying to figure a more efficient way of hotkeying because very often my zealots get mixed up in the middle with the rest of my army. So my question is: does anyone use separate, mutually exclusive, hokeys for different bunch of units (imagine you have 100 food of army. By mutually exclusive, I mean that 50 food is on one hotkey and 50 on the other and you dont use a third hotkey to group the whole army)?

What's the counter to Marauder/Ghost/Medivac (+Vikings if going colossus) as toss?

Many people do. You'll see folk hotkey different sets of units (e.g., zealot/sentry on 1, stalkers on 2) or chunks of their army (e.g., harassment lings on 1, drop protection force on 2) and not have a combined hotkey for all of them. It's only a bit more clicking to issue commands to your army (1a2a3a vs. just 1a) so it's typically a waste of a hotkey slot to have an "all army" key.

Better micro and/or macro.

Can you switch hotkeys to buttons on your mouse and use that set up legally in tournaments? Or is it too non standard since all mice don't have the same amount of buttons?

1) Issue un-siege command
During the un-siege animation: 2) Right click where you want to re-siege 3) Shift-click siege command

Hey guys I would like an opinion ^0^ it would be great if you can help me.
I'm planning on making the following guides:
1. [G]TvZ Hellion/Banshee Expo <---- Opener Description: Reactor Hellion Expand into hellions and a couple banshees; contain/delay the zerg from taking his third, while you are ready to take your third (before his!) at 9:10. 27 characters, 2 over the limit, though you would still see "Exp..." at the end... 2. [G] TvZ Thor/Hellion/Ghost <---- General guide 3. [G] TvZ Mech Air <---- General guide 4. [G] TvZ Raven/Marine <---- General guide 5. [G] TvP 2Port PF Expo->Air <---- Opener + General guide Description: Gas first 1-1-1 banshee opener into 2 Port, into PF Expand, into mass air units. Title is 25 characters (preview limit is 26 I believe). 6. [G] TvT BF Drop Thor Poke Alternate names? [G] TvT BF Drop + Thor Poke into Mech [G] TvT Rainbow's Mech Opener etc.?
Guides #3 and #4 use #1 as an opener. However, I plan on making #3 and #4 to be full, in depth guides. Would it be reasonable to keep them as separate threads, and just link them in Guide #1 under "transitions"? As an opener, Guide #1 won't be that long, but it'll still cover the basics like Scouting, Build Order, Replays, Mindset, Adaptation, Timings, etc. If I put #3 and #4 into it it would be very very long, but I'm not planning on including more than 1 opener for #3 and #4 other than the opener in Guide #1, and I don't want to put more transitions/follow-ups into Guide #1 aside from the #3 and #4. I think I would like to keep them separate but I'm not sure what TL mods would prefer. On one hand, it's more organized to separate them into threads (like on Liquipedia), but on the other, it can be in 1 thread and be a very "complete" thread. My Guide #5 is just 1 opener and 1 follow-up so I'll keep it as one thread.
Also, can anyone give general feedback to the names of these potential threads? I want them to fit in the preview, if you think that is important.

If you need help, TL is a great place to get help. Make a [H[ thread .
To get better, play against better players. Each time you lose, if you learn from your (usually 1 big mistake), you will improve very quickly. Join some clan channels and ask for games from slightly better players, or if you can find someone that is really good, do so. When you lose, or even win, ask them politely and humbly for advice.
Also, I myself can help, i offer free coaching (perhaps i should be called teaching...), i'm ~1000-1200 points Master MMR on NA

Spamming games does help if you figure out why you lost and actively work to correct your mistakes.
Also don't forget that unless you're at the very top or bottom of the ladder, 50% of the time you're going to be playing someone better than you.

Very true, good point ^0^. And when you win, you can learn from your opponent's mistakes too.

Thanks, however I didn't formulate my question correctly. What would be the best unit composition againt Marauder/Ghost/Medivac + Viking as toss?

Zealot/sentry/stalker/collosus or Zealot/sentry/stalker/high templar
There is no "counter". Thats why its so popular. The only way to win against it is to outplay it. I'll say this thought. If you manage to turn it into a macro game(3base+), and you opened with High templars. You can start adding collosus. HT and collosus as a combination is sick strong.

Gateway (more heavy on Zealots as usual, and preferably lots of FF ready) + Colossi + HT.
Basically, you will need to adapt your composition to his. Generally, if he starts to slow down viking production (and there are less vikings on the field now), then make more Colossi. If he starts to slow down ghost production (or there are less ghosts on the field now), then make more HTs.
I'm pretty sure that's correct, though I have seen some notable posters say that, though perhaps it should be that way, the Terran combo of ghost/viking support will beat colossi/HT support.
If that's true, then it would make sense to me that you could focus purely on HT or purely on Colossi, negating much of the use of his Vikings or Ghosts, respectively (if you focus purely on HT, you "should" have enough to overpower the soft counter that are the ghosts, but keep in mind the effectiveness lost from ghosts is much less than that of vikings, obviously). This would force him to adapt to you by also focusing purely on one, which would let you switch to the other (Colossi to HT or HT to Colossi), thus creating a sort of equilibrium.

At what time do I know or should suspect the protoss is going to 1base, if he hasn't put his nexus down? (tvp)
