Did a search but couldnt find the answer:
Does fungal growth stack? So if i cast fungal growth 3x simultaneously, will it do 3x damage or do i need to sequentially spawn the spell (1st fungal weares off - 2nd fungal cast - and so on)
I believe it does not stack (like storm - that doesnt stack either)... but want to be sure.

mayb off topic for strat forum but does playing 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 affect ur hidden rating for 1v1 too?? ive played a lot of 2v2 3v3 and 4v4 but only about 1300 diamond with good stats like 100-60 and now ive got more time I want to solely play 1v1 my rating is 400 and W/L 34-38 and I keep meeting 2800-3000 daimonds constantly win or lose. Just wodnering if I should mayb throw some team games to try and get people that are around my skill level till I stop makign stupid mistakes, being out of pratice im making lots of silly micro mistakes and amcroing and my pvp is now terrible!!!

It doesn't stack. If you recast it on an already fungaled unit, it will simply refresh the duration.

No, your Team MMR and your Solo MMR are two separate entities and don't affect each other.

oh at least i know that winning in 3v3 and 4v4 has no effect now. Will just have to keep playing 1v1 till I find people closer to my current level and work my way back up!!!

What is the origin of the term "food" instead of supply? Is that something that comes from SC1?

Food comes from the Warcraft RTS series, which many of the players of SC have a background in. It's just second nature to use either one at this point, both terms mean the same thing. Supply is more correct though

No, I'm protoss, but supply seems to be often used for all three even though it isn't technically accurate. But at least that one obviously comes from SC2, unlike food.

2. Where should you add your gateways, at your main or your expo?
3. How many cannons do you need to safely repel Mutalisks -> i.e. 2 cannons for 7, 3 for 12, 654 for 50 etc.?
4. Where's "the money spot" for FFs?
5. How far behind is 3-gate expo versus 2-rax expo?

None of those are simple questions, or they just don't really make sense or are questions that you should be asking. Nevertheless I'll comment on them:
1. In general zealots counter zerglings. The more zerglings the Z has the more zealots you should have.
2. Doesn't really matter, except for specific cases, such as in PvZ if you're using additional gateways to help wall in your natural. Or if you're afraid of drops, you can put gateways in your nat to mitigate damage from drops. In base race situations if you expand to somewhere other than your natural (actually kinda common in PvP) you should spread out your buildings and make gates at your expo.
3. 2 is enough to start with, but you should be relying on other units to help repel mutas, not just cannons. Cannons are more of a buffer so you have time to get units there to defend. So actually another way of decreasing the number of cannons you have to make is to simply have better map awareness (know where mutas are at all time), or to put pressure on the zerg instead.
4. What? FF placement is highly dependent on both your army comp and your opponent's army comp.
5. IMO 3 gate expo is a counter to 2 rax expo since most of the time you can use it to set up a contain below the terran's ramp and then expand behind it. The terran will get his 2nd orbital faster than you but you'll get your expansion running before him.

from a zerg perspective, you don`t want your banelings to accidentaly detonate on the statue when spaming right click to chase down marines for example.
