(He didn't shift click away the mules, nor double click the SCV on the game field of the battle, he clicked on one of the green scv guys in some way, if he just wasn't so fast that I saw wrong :p).

For the most economical build, should I make my first overlord at 8-9-10-11 or 12 supply?

why is storm considered bad against protoss?

This thread goes over it in excruciating detail: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=172481 But for a short and sweet answer most top zergs prefer 9 overlord although a few do 10 overlord with the extractor trick to get a faster 11th drone which is supposed to be a very tiny bit worse than 9 overlord.

Storm is best against low-hp units (because storm will either kill or almost kill them, especially if the units bunch up naturally) such as marines, zerglings, hyrdas and to a lesser extent marauders and roaches. It's not considered as good against protoss because in PvP the army tends to be mostly colossus, stalker, zealot and maybe immortals. Storm would be okay against pure zealot, but the only army that tends to be zealot heavy tends to have a lot of colossus as well

If I build a ghost right after Moebius Reactor finished (but it wasn't finished when I started the ghost) will the ghost still have +25 energy?

Can a siege tank under the effects of Fungal Growth transition from tank mode to siege mode?

Hi TL
I am a low level diamond protoss player. The way I play against T and Z is usually just expand as early as I feel safe and then just max up and go win or die with the deathball. I'd like to put in some stargate plays into my game once in a while. Against Z I've tried it some, and it's worked ok. I've probably played 300 games on the ladder and I've never build a stargate against T or P. Can anyone help me with this? Are there some stargate plays that are likely to work against T and P on diamond level?
Replays appreciate.
/Mozdk
Edit: Thanks to MoreFaSho and Teoita

Mlg in the future is sending 1 person to code s but who are they eliminating from code s? They can't have a 33 man tourney...on the otherhand, mlg is easy since it is based on point seeding and so 16th seed in pool play ust won't get to play.

/Mozdk Mid diamond P here.
Colossus-phoenix for PvT works great. Good examples are some of Incontrol's coaching videos, or qxc vs NexGenious on Tal'Darim during TSL3. The basic idea is to use phoenixes rather than blink stalkers to protect your colossi from vikings; your ground army is mostly zealots. Once you are on 2 bases a common setup is 1 robo, 2 stargate, 3 gateways making zealots. You barely don't have the gas for all that stuff, but it's reasonable because often times one adds the stargates after 3 or so colossi, and it's ok to not be constatly be making them. Once you take a third im not too sure what to add as i personally go for gateway-heavy builds, but i guess charge, upgrades and more gate units is reasonable. For pvp i have no idea. edit: also 3gate stargate with void rays is a good allin. See TLO vs Incontrol on Shattered Temple from the last MLG.
On to my question: what are decent builds to secure an expansion in pvz on Slag Pits and Delta Quadrant? I find 3 gate expand hard to defend, and void rays/dt's to be too relying on my opponent not scouting well enough...any suggestions?

/Mozdk Against terran stargate plays are viable, but they're a littler vulnerable. If you see a terran player open tech lab rax its' very viable to get void rays out as part of your army because it's likely his marine count will be low and void rays do bonus damage against armored units. I've even seen phoenix players work, but they're substantially riskier as your dps is a lot lower defensively. Phoenix/Colossus used to be considered the end-all of protoss lategame army in PvT.
As for vs P, I've seen void ray and phoenix plays work (normally in the rare PvPs that get an expo up where the opponent goes robo), but again, it can't be part of "standard" play and needs to be something you mix up or something you try as a quick reaction to something telling you they're going robo. Remember, no robo units can hit air.
I don't have any replays off hand since I don't personally play this style when I play protoss, but in + Show Spoiler +the TSL finals Naniwa did a proxy stargate build on Xel'Naga against ThorZaiN. You can find the vods in the TSL3 forum.

I obviously don't have any special knowledge about this, but I've heard it's not for this upcoming code S season after the super tournament, but the following one. My guess is they'll somehow change the format for the up/down matches to satisfy this so that of the 16 code S players playing in up/down and the 8 code A players they'll only earn a total of 7 spots (possibly a reverse playoff for who gets to play in the up/down). There is also a code A spot going to the winner of the Swedish tournament so that will affect the numbers as well so they may want fewer players to keep their code A spot by default.

Quick question: In competitive StarCraft 2 tournaments, are you allowed to play with the game clock turned on?

why dont pros use workers to harrass a building worker like a scv? they did this in BW

They do, I think. At least in recent streams I just pulled from the right hand side here I saw worker harrassment vs terran.
