Bronze player here, playing as Terran. I have been having issues with Protoss as of late. One is a consistent issue that I have, when the Protoss goes straight Void Ray. I do a scan around 6:30 or so, and once I see it up go turrats and out come Vikings, but usually he is so far ahead in production that he just steam rolls me. Any suggestions?
The other one I just lost to was a 4 Gateway Dark Shrine, once again scanned at 6:30ish saw the shrine, popped out a turret at the ramp and started build on a starport, but he rushed me after the scan and it was gg.
My general build is 3 rax, first with reactor and next two with tech labs. I tried the 1/1/1 build but in bronze 90% of the games I get rushed and lose due to not having enough units.

Not a simple question, need to make a [H] post with attached replay. But since your bronze, the answer is probably just that you need to macro better (in fact you hint at this yourself - "he is so far ahead in production that he just steam rolls me." which shouldn't happen if you're 3 raxing)
And of course if you don't have turrets and/or a scan ready when a DT rush comes you're going to lose, there's nothing you can do about that even at a GM level (except scout better to see it coming).
Also 1-1-1 is viable regardless of league, you just need more bunkers.

Specifically in a TvZ (or Grubby style TvP) using marines + all factory units, with a core of tanks, should i be prioritizing +2 and +3 armor before +1 attack. Seems to me that +1 damage to an already high number doesnt help alot at all.
According to this thread: Critical Upgrade Analysis, +mech attack is usualy a bad upgrade to prioritize against zerg (read the summary at the end to learn which are the best weapon and armor upgrades / those that affect the number of hits it takes to kill a specific unit.)
How do you drop units from multiple overlords while they are moving? I know you can select a single overlord and left click the icons for the units inside and they will drop that way, but I've seen over and over players dropping units from all the overlords in a group and I haven't been successful in emulating the technique.

If my friend and I are both on SC2 and I just finished a really great game that I want to show him, is there any way that I can open up the replay as a custom game and invite my friend, so that we can watch it together? (Like we could in SC1?)

Nope, but Blizzard would like to add in client supported replay sharing in the future.

Thanks I'll just stick to sending them files or uploading my replays on a sc2replay site and sending them the videos that way for now.
Diamond Protoss player here looking to offrace as Terran. Was wondering what one build to learn in each matchup as safe and standard, such as how Protoss has 3 Gate Expand for T/Z and 3 Gate Robo for pretty much everything. Is there one Terran build that is pretty safe against everything?
Let's say Player A is zerg. A uses mutalisks. I see no one drawing those mutalisks with low health from battle. Why not? You will save a great unit, unit that cost A LOT. All you get with keeping that Muta in the battle is a a shot or two, and then it dies away.
Of course this is dependant on what is the situation, but generally they could heal, and if enough queens are in play, mutas could be transfused.
Simply, why dont withdraw units with low health, as they will be gaining hp and can be transfused?
Is it possible to change the hotkey for spreading the creep tumor? Its on "c" but i want to have it on another key. In the hotkey settings i couldnt find an option to change it.

Besides the case where you need to suicide your mutas to either kill off an important unit or tech or just to buy time, you always want to preserve them whenever possible. Note that this is true of any unit in your army.
The reason is more of a mechanical one. Mutas have low health so it is hard to pull back individual mutas out of harm's way. Furthermore, mutas typically have their own hotkey group so simply sending hurt mutas away won't work (although it is sufficient to force target switches onto other mutas which is frequently all you want). You would need to send a muta off, then re-bind the group minus that muta which is relatively APM intensive for questionable gain.

Do you know something to handle this?
Thanks.
Before the latest patch, it was not possible to change the spawn creep tumor action for creep tumors due to a bug. However, it was fixed so you should simply be able to change the action in the usual way (hotkeys -> zerg -> structures -> creep tumor).
1) In PvZ macro-oriented games, I noticed that typically high level players go for the IST or ISS compositions but as the game builds up and zerg techs to ultras/broodlords, that Protoss players do not replenish sentry count.
This could be my mis-observation but, why do ppl do that?? I thought for zerg, since their numbers are so great in late game, that you NEED forcefields to restrict their movement otherwise the deathball gets surrounded too easily??
2) PvZ - what is the best counter to lings/infestors in mid game and late game??
Has any other protoss been driven to race-switching because of PvP? I'm thinking of switching to zerg and wondering if it's worth getting a new account to play zerg. Part of me wants to keep my P account because I put so much work into it already.
What's the worst thing a zerg has to deal with? What causes the most rage, is it mirror matchups or defending all-ins or something? Zerg just seems so awesome.

Opinions vary of course, but the general consensus is that zerg is most frustrating in the early game due to the combination of
1) Lack of early-game scouting capabilities, 2) Need of scouting information (more so than other races) to inform larva usage, and 2) Power of all-ins/aggressive plays from opponents and lack of quick reactionary defense to deal with those plays
You can see the debate continue from Idra and day9's discussion on state of the game:
As protoss is it ever worth it to get +3 shields, it cost as much as a mothership and takes 220 ingame seconds. I believe its the most expensive and longest research time upgrade. As my games tend to go on past the 25 minute mark I find myself with the extra resources to get it.
