i didnt read your whole post because it was pretty confusing like halfway through, but it seems like you propose to just mass zerglings. well, in ZvP zerglings get raped by forcefields and/or +1 attack zealots, in ZvT they get owned by hellions with igniter or by bioballs.

It's difficult for Zerg to dump minerals due to limited larvae. Sure, you can pump lings, but the cost in larvae will be far greater than the cost of minerals.

That being said, zerglings remain effective throughout the entire game, especially with upgrades. They are good meatshields, have decent DPS, and can offer nice surrounds. As an exercise, always make an effort to hide your zerglings in a position that will allow you to backstab the enemy force. Stalkers, immortals, colossi and siege tanks will melt far faster when you catch them by surprise.

zerglings are really good early on and it can be good to make alot of them, especially if you get upgrades

the thing you need to keep in mind is they are melee so making nothing but zerglings is inefficient
