I've played twice today against this ridiculous all-in where the player makes mass lings until his roach warren comes up then mass roach/ling with 15 drones no expo and a queen.

The game on metalopolis could have gone better had I successfully walled my ramp, but I still dont' think I could have held it int he long term. Also I somehow got a stalker instead of a sentry first, which was just an accident, not planned.
The game on incineration zone though, I thought it was a straight ling all-in due to the amount of lings he was making so i made a second gateway instead of a robo. I don't know if this is the correct response or not. No idea, I can't even fathom a working counter to this all-in.

I have not watched the replay about going gateways instead of robo is still decent fighting roaches going against zerg zealot wall (1 zealot between gate/gate or gate/core) does wonders then jus pump out stalkers (outrange roaches behind wall) and sentries(shield to tank roach shots), pullin another gate or techin should work out alrite. generally speaking you shouldnt need more than 3 zealots out with this setup voidray or dts would work well for teching as he shudn't have lair if he is all-in you could also do the pylon 10 gate chrono zealot build for early pressure, jus dont lose you zealots

Metalopolis: Ok first off 10 gate is an economically weak build if you're not going to rush. Going 13 gate allows you to get more units even if your tech is slower. Tech units are bad against lings anyway so you want zealots out. -You went core--> stalker before zealots against a one base build. [even core zealot stalker would be ok, but i guess you lacked money cause of the 10 gate] Thats bad play. You want to maximize your gateway time early game because one base zerg can really pump a lot before your macro gets going. Also stalkers are weak vs zerglings you get them to face roaches/banelings/muta/overlords, since his first unit is lings you want zealots first. You should have 2 zealots before you get a stalker/sentry, then another zealot. -You fail at blocking your ramp/wall choke hard. -You took second gas really early considering he was one basing. Probably spare money due to not using your gateway well.
Incineration zone: You literally were fine and then you moved out of your ramp and lost all your zealots to a ling surround. Thats just terrible you knew you were ahead economically. Then you lose your sentry. You could have killed/held him on the ramp and the sentry you had could have forcefield to stop the roaches.
Overall: -Learn to adapt to different styles of play. Don't play everygame like against a fast expand zerg or terran. -Learn to use hold position and don't get too greedy trying to kill somebody doing low econ builds. Both games would have been easily won if you used hold position, even a probe to held your wall if needed, 1 probe is a lot less of economy loss than what he's donig. Zerg can skip workers and have loads of units early or skip units and have loads of drones. If he's pressuring his economy is behind. -Quit nerd raging so hard, it's pathetic and it accomplishes nothing, you're losing because you;re playing badly what he did to win isn't important.
