Hi, just wanted to share my maps that I've created over the course of the past few years. I'll mark maps with an asterisk (*) for maps that I'm particularly interested to see you play and give feedback on. I made all these for fun in my spare time so please try what you can, I'm open to all criticism.

All maps are uploaded to all regions.

Map Name: Shadows of the Dominion*
Description: A facility rivaling Castanar has been discovered, sector authorities begin fighting over its many secrets. Various main pathways lead to and from team fortresses, allowing for frequent major engagements. Resources are located in key choke points, aggressive tactics are favoured.
Type: Custom Melee
Players: 2v2v1v1, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, FFA
Comment: To get the full experience please play with the default game settings and team setup at least once (I've added normal melee modes as well). If you're alone, just fill in the empty player spots with AI and change the AI difficulty and you're good to go! Someone already reviewed this map and they said it reminds them of a campaign mission. That's precisely what I was going for when I made it, was to make a map that felt like a campaign mission and yet focused on melee gameplay. Team 3 and Team 4 are neutral teams, they have random starting positions and attack everyone and each other. Team 3 is setup to be the Tal'Darim and is given the Dark Protoss skin, they get custom units. Tal'Darim will occasionally get a Tal'Darim Mothership. Team 4 is meant to be the Terran Dominion and is given some minor skin changes, they get custom units. The Terran Dominion gets an Odin unit once every 28 minutes. Also, to top it off, after about 12 minutes, hostile monster units will occasionally spawn in the center. They're meant to be escaping lab experiments. You'll see the occasional Omegalisk, Brutalisk, Hybrid, and extremely rarely a Leviathan will spawn. So you've got 2v2 melee action, 2 neutral teams plus hostile monsters running around, it gets pretty fun in late game. I've spent several months working on this map, I'm very happy with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it.

Map Name: Frontier Escalation*

Comment: I spent the better part of 2 years making this map on and off before I finally finished it and I kept at it to keep improving it. It's at version 5.0 now and it's really finished. It began as a simple concept to make a tug-of-war map with a land bridge. But it's evolved into this and I'm happy with the result, please try this out and let me know what you think!

Map Name: Frontier Escalation (Day Version)
Description: Two teams fight for control of an abandoned Dominion research facility located on the farthest edge of the known galaxy. Each player has immediate access to one expansion but it's located far from the home base. Take the front expansion or destroy the rocks.
Sunny version with no rain or fog.
Type: Melee
Players: 1v1, 2v2, FFA
Comment: This is the same as the original except it's sunny and there's no rain or fog. I originally made this for myself but figured I'd give you the option of choosing night or day.

Map Name: Requiem for a Star
Description: An ancient Xel Naga temple is uncovered deep within an unknown planet orbiting a dying star. The map is rich with resources, however each player starts with only one accessible expansion. Destroy the rocks to find more expansions.
Type: Melee
Players: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, FFA
Comment: I listened to Requiem for a Dream while I was making this map so that's why I named it that. The concept for this map was to make a "map within a map." I had a lot of fun with this one.

Map Name: Dead Sky
Description: Over the skies of Korhal, a high-security defense platform has gone dark and no distress calls were sent. With the district's defenses down, enemies have made a move to invade Korhal, allies of Korhal also move to counter-attack. The second war over Korhal has begun!
Type: Melee
Players: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, FFA
Comment: I made this map to play zombies on. Recommended mod is Zombiefest (battlenet:://starcraft/map/1/230172). In the mod options, click the difficulty and choose custom then scroll down and under buildings click "off" for never ending zombies as intended for this map. The zombies will spawn in the center and attack everyone. It's still very fun as a melee map and without the zombies.

Map Name: Sky Sprawl
Description: The Sky Sprawl on Korhal is the system centre of commerce and trade. It has formed the backbone of the Dominion's war machine through means of greed and illegal corporate schemes. Now, it's a highly contested zone turning this part of Korhal into a battlefield.
Type: Melee
Players: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, FFA
Comment: I had an irresistible urge to make a spiraling map so I set out to make it and this is the result. It's easy to misjudge the distance your ground army is from your base, my own map outsmarted me in this regard. Be quick and be careful or go full air. Zombies work well in this map too.

Map Name: Between Worlds
Description: Many islands with many resources. One easily accessible expansion for each player. High income potential for players quick to take to the air.
Type: Melee
Players: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, FFA
Comment: When adding AI, be sure to select "Straight to air" for their builds. I just wanted to make a simple melee air map. It serves it's purpose and I had fun with this one.

Map Name: Snowsturm
Description: A frozen world rich with minerals has been discovered but a blizzard is setting in, factions scramble to mine the precious resources. Teams start on each end of the canyon and each player gets 2 expansions. Take the high road or the low road, both lead to the enemy base.
Type: Melee
Players: 1v1, 2v2, FFA
Comment: The concept for this was to make a narrow corridor map. I made it as narrow as I possibly could and it still turned out okay, it's more fun than I expected but it tends to end quickly.

Map Name: Death to the Dominion
Description: You are the last living remnants of the venerable Terran Dominion. Cornered and left for dead, you must build a base and an army before the enemy finds you. Fight the onslaught and show these revolutionaries that the Terran Dominion doesn't go quietly!
Type: Misc
Players: 1
Comment: This is a defend map with waves of enemies. I wanted to make a tiny map and this is what I got.

Map Name: Downfall of Teikoku
Description: Teikoku is a large, resource rich, asteroid of the Braxis asteroid belt. Two Terran mining corporations competed for control of Teikoku until war approached, they abandoned everything. Now, factions fight over the resources in a desperate struggle, where every bold move can mean victory or defeat.
Type: Melee
Players: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, FFA
Comment: This is my very first serious melee map attempt I ever made. It was completely made by hand without any symmetry tools. I made both fortresses individually by hand and memory. It was before I knew about symmetry but it turned out okay. Also teikoku is Japanese for "empire" if I remember correctly.

Requiem for a Dream

music is so ingrained into any thing artsy people do (i usually draw/paint/code/edit/whatever listening to music (not always though)) and you can always find stuff correlated/interesting when you look back on it and organically figure extra stuff out from it <3
