This thread is a compilation of my work as a map maker for SC2. Any of these maps can be used for purposes of tournaments, cups, and other competition, contests, etc. Although you don't need permission to use any of them, I would appreciate just being told if you plan to use a map so I can look out for it!
MY JOURNEY:
Enord requested a biography so here it is. My first exploits in mapping and RTS in general was around the late 90s with Age of Empires. AoE is where I got my start in real time strategy games, and where I came to love making my own carefully crafted environments to play with. I was never exposed to BW until SC2 was in the Beta, and I kind of regret that since I would have loved to have mapped for that game as well. Early on after SC2 came out I began playing non-stop and began to think about playing competitively. The friends that introduced me to to the game were Platinum and Diamond level, back when Diamond was the highest league (lol, seems strange, I know!) and I was just starting out. As my college friend’s interest in the game was waning, my own interest was waxing as SC2 was an amazing outlet for me mentally, and represented a greater challenge than any other aspect of my life, including work and school. In SC2, I could be competitive and visibly see my growth as I rose through the ranks. After I no longer had anyone my level to play with, I sought out a clan to find others as interested in SC2 as I was. That was when I joined Fever. I really started to become interested in the map editor instead of just playing after a lot of people expressed the desire for better maps, and after I developed some real anger issues from playing competitively way too much. Some of my earliest maps were labeled ‘FSL’ back in the day, to reflect the Fever Star League, a tournament I created and ran within the Clan. I found that others didn’t really share my passion for the game as I did though, even in a gaming clan, so I worked and built with a few friends and made a real competitive and fun SC2 section with over 200 members through recruiting and clan wars, playing on teams and running teams. I eventually left Fever and after a lot of RL happened, getting married, finding a good job, etc. I find myself constantly drawn back to the editor again and again. I am currently working with Stratk to make some more awesome SC2 things happen! My goal is to break through to the next level as a map-maker, to create a map used in a major tournament, or the ladder. If I could do that, I am sure I would want to do it again, but I would at least have that validation for all the long hard hours I have poured into the editor doing what I love. So please, enjoy the maps and thank you for reading!

All of those spoilers really had me intrigued! Anyway, I guess that is a fair thing. I'll write something up and put it in the OP.

Lots of great maps here. You've definitely improved a lot since I first remember seeing your maps on TL.

nice i wish more mapmakers took the time to do this (even more in depth) "showcased introspection"
whatever readers think of it (epeen, adsie or genuine sharing and bits of mapmaking history showcased) it is a very dififcult healthy exercise for us mapmakers (for anyone), on one hand it shows a lil bit of who we are and where we come from, and on the other it allows for what is seen by most as a "pass time" (be it a passion) to be properly showcased for neophytes and potential joiners
mapmaking is one of the best thing to ever happen to gaming and the people interested / invested in gaming and sadly, this widely available platform of expression is still mostly always looked down upon
..while .. let's face it .. if the gameplay and players are the life of a game, maps are its soul
+ Show Spoiler + i am in the process of organizing a "round table / documentary" of as many mapmakers as i can to "better" showcase our passion and these typing help rekindle my enthusiasm for this monumental undertaking, for this also i thank you lore
