@imcaustic Understand you cannot change the map for sc2, but would you be willing to change it slightly for a starbow version? No point if Kabal is not behind this though.

Kabal has contacted me about using the map for Starbow (sorry if this is supposed to be confidential info! ) I'd prefer seeing how the map pans out with the Starbow mod before considering any changes. There's no point pre-emptively making changes for an issue that, while theorycrafted, may not actually become a problem. It all comes down to that play data, really.

Classes unit and bw damage system. In bw, units are classified: large, medium, small. In bw, there are 3 damage types: normal, concussive, explosive. Normal damage, do 100% damage to any unit. Concussive damage, do 100% vs small units, 50% vs medium and 25% vs large. Explosive damage, do 100% vs large, 75% vs medium and 50% vs small. Protoss shield absorbed always 100% of the damage, regardless of the type of damage. Normal damage are used by all t1, t3 units and air basic antigroud units and lurker, goliath, scourge. Concussive damage are used by few t1.5 units (firebat, vulture, ghost, baneling). Explosive damage are used by more t1.5, t2 units (hydralisk, tank, stalker ecc...). You should try to part, as this could unbalance the game again. According to you, it's good to return to this old system?

I did not have time to complete the content for the opening post. I will probably have time during the weekend since school and work has started again and it keeps my days busy. All content for Starbow will be presented in the OP. So will the credit list!
The process of improving Starbow does not stop entirely, even if I call Starbow completed. Maybe it turns out after a while that certain things with the game is flawed, weird or imbalanced. Maybe a certain spell or unit turns out to be a nightmare for the game. Or that the economy is the biggest misstake I have ever made. There will be room for such larger changes if it is really really necessary. But I will try to let the game develop itself now, to the extent that players play and explore it and find strategies, build orders etc. I will be careful with updates.
XiA, I can not thank you enough for all help you have offered me, especially now during the last week when Starbow was rebuilt from scratch. You have litteraly improved every detail of the game - all button texts, all spells, abilities, units etc and it has taken you many many hours of work every day. Starbow would not have been as polished and free from errors without your help.
i noticed a pathing bug on 'shortest straw', zerglings can fit through the walloff at the ventilator at the natural. its an easy fix, just paint antipathing exactly under the ventilator.
Yo Xiphias, Plz straighten up the stream lag. Some of the big battles get big lag, and it really is not appealing. Your youtube seems just a tad bit less laggy.
