I had it in the same cntrl group as my baneling ling ultra army, but I had to tab through several units to get to it. Banelings had the highest priority for some reason T___T I'm not sure how its done, but could the Guardian have the default spellcaster priority? Unless it was intentional for some... reason... | ||

It is going to be a bit longer with more clips in it, others might be removed, this was just an idea of what the beginning might look like (it's still not going to be too long maybe 2-3 minutes). I am unfortunatly seeing it lag in youtube... it is perfectly fine on my cpu, maybe I should export it with lower quelity, it should still be having the 720 option on youtube. The song is "Human instrument" by Volbeat which might be a problem (got the third party notice when I uploaded this). I tried "Level 5" by King Crimson, but my wife pointed out it might bee too complex for a simple promo vid. I love level 5 personally and it might take less of a claim as it is virtually unknown. I'll add something to the end as well, and a very short clip with the starbow channel and a link below to this forum. EDIT: I see the lag comes from when I try to capture the scenes from the replays with OBS (open software streaming). I am very new to this. I have troulbe streaming any sc2 the has more than minimum graphics settings (I am trying for medium for the promo to make it look at bit nice). My PC should handle it. I was wondering if changing max bitrate (currently at 1000 kb/s), buffer size (currently at 1000 kbit) or FPS (currently at 30) might make anything better. I am a complete noob at this. Any advice is appreciated. (should perhaps post this in tech support.....) EDIT2: I got the feedback I needed and have removed the VOD (sorry, only 8 got to see it) but I don't want strikes to my channel. I'll find a new soundtrack and hopefully finish it by friday. Anyone possess a good non-copyrighted soundtrack I can use? Don't worry it will be up again and better ![]() Like I chatted about yesterday. I will most probably need two other to join me in a starbow game tonight (one from each race) to create some more scenes for the promo. I'll be on about 8-9 pm. Please report if you find anything weird! All bugs, errors, imbalances, the feeling of the game, and so on.. I take notes of everything players mention to me! The game is of course not in any state of optimal balance. Be aware that more balance patches might come in the near future. So you don´t think that "Starbow is now completed!" means that everything is as perfect as it can be. The process has not stopped now, just as it has not stopped for SC2 for Blizzard and so on. As usual, I listen to your feedback, I make observations and tries to find and evaluate possible adjustments that can improve the balance and make the game more enjoyable. I will do that in small steps now. No major changes to turn everything up-side down like in the past. I will however not remove or add content to the races - the units, abilities etc are final. But they can be adjusted if necessary for balance or other reasons. @Xiphias On saturday I will complete the opening post. If you have the video done by saturday, it would be a great addition ![]() | ||

Currently nurturing swarm ability (transfusion), reduces bt for 7.5 seconds. Increased effect duration Increase the duration of effect to 20 seconds, for reduces bt to 10 sec. You're saying this is a mistake, right? It's meant to increase the amount of build time that completes in a time by 100%, similar to Chronoboost, only instead of 30 seconds worth of Build Time completing in 20 game seconds, this ability (NS) should (and did in the last replay I watched, of Traceback and Azelja) complete 30 seconds of BT in 15 seconds, because it's +100% over 15 seconds. Normally, 15 complete in 15, so 30 BT completes. Has it suddenly been accidentally changed? | ||

Also explains all the indecision that was in the beta wol, regarding the bt zea, 33 sec or 38? eventually chose 38 because the chronobost is brought to 32. Make a try, you create a probe in 13 seconds and one zea to 33, use only one chronobost. I did notice (thx at you)that the chronobost of starbow was heavily nerfed. If increased speed of building of the 40% in 15 sec, currently chronobost reduce bt by 3 sec. Is ridiculus ^^ Chronobost: If duration is increased to 20, it reduce bt by 4. If increased effect to 50%, it reduce bt by 3.75. Great job! Personally I would like the health bars to be hidden. Maybe just have the most important ones highlighted like in a regular cast. That would look better in my eyes at least ![]() | ||
