Well, I actually dont like FRB. I played lots of games the past 2 days and the start up is soooooo slow. Right now on EU I am experimenting with the BW economic system. The workers generate more income in the start, but its faster to reach the maximum saturation on a base. But the income per base is still lower than in SC2. Which means that more bases are needed for a strong economy. Full saturation requires 16 workers. (on minerals) Each worker takes 5 seconds longer to build. (so it still takes a while to fully saturate a base) Each worker carries 8 minerals but take longer time to mine. The more workers on a base, the less efficent they become. This means that 8 workers in base A and 8 workers in base B are stronger than 16 workers in base C. The start up economy is stronger = more options in the first 6 minutes of the game. Still a fully saturated base in Starbow generates less income than a fully saturated base in SC2. Uploaded the BW change on Eu for 1 hour ago. Need to play more games to see if this is better or not. We are currently 10 people in the channel, which is nice  | ||

What was wrong with FRB and what the hell is this "Brood War system"? I'm actually getting really annoying because I found out timings and then you completely just change the system over. Just because one person doesn't like something, I don't see why you should change the whole entire thing. We struck gold with FRB but players just bitch about how the games are so slow because they don't know how to make workers and expand and all that other stuff. Plus they never attack or do anything. I've never had someone actually ATTACK me in Starbow so far. I'm the one always having to attack. I really don't want to see the switch from FRB. It works much better and makes the game more micro focused and it's more enjoyable. But nope. Not today. | ||

I mainly play Starbow for the area control units. StarCraft 2 simply just doesn't have that. | ||
