Wtf guys, tempest good against vikings? 9 range with 2.75 speed, vs 6 range with 2.25 movement speed. Also Tempest attack has like 1 second cast time, and they accelerate REALLY slow. If you ever land a hit on vikings with a tempest, the enemy is terribad.

Swarm host seems specifically designed to abuse friendly splash vs terran tanks. Similar to broodlords just lower tech.

I tried out ocular parasite and it seems you can only cast one per viper, I thought this was just energy based?

Anyway cool map.

swarm host is sooo OP right now
I love it!
Usually in WoL, to kill a planetary, you would have to commit a large army and a lot of resources,
but now with about 4 SH, you can constantly bombard any defensive line.
I love how each locust has almost as much HP and damage as a roach

New patch, will be up on NA once it gets Blizzard's 1.4.2 patch (their changes were already implemented by me prior). Also there's an undocumented change, spectator mode now works just as with normal melee maps, with up to 12 spectators per map.

Patch Notes 1.11
- Burrowed banelings now visible when moving (like burrowed roach movement)
- Abduct now 10 range
- Shredder death animation fixed
- Tempest AoE reduced from 4 to 2.5
- Tempest ground range increased from 6 to 8
- Tempest eradicator beam has less initial firing delay
- Tempest splash model now slightly smaller
- Swarm host rally resets when unburrowed

Does blinding cloud actually work? It doesn't seem to reduce marine/tank range for me.

Great mod, but you really need to fix the battle hellion, he has way more range in the blizzcon video, right now it's almost useless to use the battle form.

Also the battle hellion needs to be affected by the blue flame upgrade, as the flame is clearly blue in the video demonstration.

I don't know if thats true, it has 2.5 range in my mod and definitely doesn't appear to have more than 3 range in the teaser

Heh it does work, it just doesn't have the blue colour because I don't have a seperate blue fire model. I'll see what I can do though .

The best way to do this, I think, would be to move all the stuff into a mod-file which then is included as a dependency by all maps using HotS Custom. This will also make it easier to maintain all the different maps using HotS Custom.

I would definitely not be against publishing a HotS Custom version of some of my maps.
