I've been playing a bit yesterday in hardcore mode , and I was able to hotkey 2 barracks at the same time .. It's weird because I tried to repeat the bug this morning by making a custom map against the computer but it was working fine. Also I had some problems with mutas against corsairs , it's really hard to keep them unstacked. I tried to let them spread and then control them like magic box mutas in SC2 but it seems rather unpractical. | ||

Why is it less than desirable with online play? the limit for unit selection is trigger based. meaning it's run on the server after you select units. basically it works like this. you select 30 units. the trigger runs. counts how many units you have selected. if it's more than 12 it will cut your selection back to 12. the problem is the delay inbetween you selecting 30 units and the server running the trigger. with the delay on battle.net it is quite easy to select any number of units and then very quickly give them an order. bypassing the restriction. the only way to fix this will be if in a future patch blizzard implements a way to run triggers on the client instead of server (i doubt this will happen) or simply adds a field in the data editor to limit selection (i somewhat doubt this aswell) | ||
