i dont think it needs to be changed much, it simply needs it's crab hands removed and replaced with the curved spine thing. | ||

It's quite logical and not really worth pointing out, since I think its obvious that many people have different opinions... so umm...yea. not sure if troll or... just trying to get at something... hmm. I'm really starting to think you might think that I don't realize some people just plainly dislike the model. Yeah, I get that. Some people just like it plainly too. Those are two options that are a given, and I don't really know what more to say about that... Also, back to the devourer model. I think if you're squinting or looking at the model from far away, it still look like scary heads. So if devourer art was liked because of that or its 'monster' look, then I think the hotS model adds to that too. | ||

For what its worth, I dont think the crab claws are that bad. Their consistent with what I feel is the flavor of the unit. Also although the devourer looked like a floating head in the pixel sprite form its concept art shows it is more of a beefy mutalisk. | ||

You're comparing an animated sprite with a static pose, that might be a frame from the attack animation in the picture or something, in fact, it almost certainly is. | ||

I played for a bit, but the models were still Corruptor and Brood Lord. May have been an old version though. | ||

It defiantly looks like a zealots psi blade. The whipping looks just like a movement effect similar to a light saber if you know what I mean. He keeps the psi blade at his side pointing down. When he attacks he winds up the swing to the side, possibly upwards as well and then swings. What is actually amusing which I just noticed, the DT actually switches between left hand psi blade, and right hand psi blade. It depends on if the DT is facing left or right, it'll switch. I think my fondest asthetics from Brood War is the way hydras move and attack (second to zealot punching animation). They kinda glide along in SC2 animation. They shamble forwards, which just looks awesome. SC2 hydra looks like it is on ice. Not to mention the acid ejection attack graphic is awesome. | ||
