- One thing I noticed--the hydra and valk attack animations suffer from "laser syndrome". The acid spine projectile almost instantly extend from the hydralisk to the target and there is no "spray" by the hydralisk. The valkyrie attack, on the other hand, lacks the distinct missiles and cloud effects of the original. - Also, have you decided on whether or not the scarabs should dud out? (As a matter of balance.) | ||

![]() - in brood war the hydra attack was instantaneous, i dont intend to change it. valkyrie in the next version will have blue flamed missiles along with a new texture/model. -scarabs will dud if they get stuck on buildings. they path better than they should through units but yea. something thats almost impossible to get right without fixing 8 direction movement. | ||

Sounds good. You should get in touch with Korean speakers on TL (translators?) who could post it on various Korean message boards. The 6th dragoon won't attack the corsair(just pretend it's a mutalisk instead of a corsair) without moving slightly forward? Is that normal? Is the dragoon size supposed to be that long? | ||

Would you be interested, after all the BW replication stuff is done, to somehow make integrate the two games together? Somehow make it so that it would be possible to factor in BW AI along with all the unit behaviours against improved SC2 AI and MBS stuff? It'd be like a game where you'd have 6 possible races to pick between and all the people debating would be able to duke it out themselves. There'd be the matter of assigning SC2 units BW unit sizes for damage and assigning SC2 armour types to BW units which might be a little subjective though. Then map relating things like 1 geyser vs. 2 geysers per base might be a problem as well. This seems like a huge, gigantic project though, and it'd be on top of what you're doing with BW. I just want to know people's thoughts on this. | ||
