A lot of it can be changed (or won't work as expected if left unchanged) in the map's settings. You can make it easy for yourself and set all available options to "locked" or "fixed" but then you might lose the ability to drag people in the lobby and one may not want that  | ||

Hmmm... you should have that option. It's the program, not the OS that has the preferences option. Are you sure you're looking in the right place? If you open a map, then go to the upper left and click file then there should be a preferences option in the drop-down. | ||
