I am trying to find a custom game.
It was minigames based and there was a forcefield micro vs banelings, you're a lurker and you run to the other side, one was that everyone was dts and try to nock off your opponent from the battle field, a tank one where you try to get a banana from the center first there was a few more.
Anyone know this map?

There are very often problems when using campaign stuff. Usually it's things like visible creep tumors or wrong Archon stats etc. Never heard about your problem. And you didn't import anything?

If you set it to "Game" then yes. Obviously you shouldn't play with the light on low resolution^^

In order for your lighting to show up correctly in game, you will need to set the lighting to the correct value in your texture set.
go to Map->Textures->Modify (or find your current texture set in the data editor) and set the "lighting" field to whatever light you have been editing.

One weird quirk with the editor is that you must have the lighting editor open in order for the correct lighting settings to show up in images exported with the image exported.

got to Map->Textures->Modify, in the window that appears there should be several fields relating to fog (you may have to scroll down a bit)

pay particular attention to the following fields:
Fog Color -> sets the color of the fog
Fog Density -> sets the overall density of the fog
Fog Falloff -> determines the "layering" effect of the fog, small values give a uniform, misty look while large values will give a more defined "layer" of dense fog near ground level. don't make this value too large or the fog will not look natural.
Fog Starting Height -> sets the height of the "layer" of fog where it will start to change density

make sure you have a bit of your map(hopefully showing all 4 elevation levels) visible when you edit these values so that you can see the effects of the fog as you change them!

don't use too many fog doodads as they may start to effect performance in game.

Go to map>textures. Then click 'modify.' On the right, about halfway down, there will be a bunch of options to edit fog. Go to 'fog starting height' and double click and then raise it up some (a positive number is usually fine, like 1). Then you can play with the other options if you want (like color) but if you plan on playing with it I would suggest making an aesthetics test map with the same tileset as your real map so that you don't screw something up bad and not know how to fix it.

Hmmm... you should have that option. It's the program, not the OS that has the preferences option.
Are you sure you're looking in the right place? If you open a map, then go to the upper left and click file then there should be a preferences option in the drop-down.

I think you already mentioned that. How about some screens of your menu options? It's kinda hard to just imagine a mac editor without having ever seen one and apparently noone with a mac reads this thread.

Where to change the game speed?

I uploaded Antiga Shipyard and wanted to try and change game speed from "faster" to like: EVEN FASTER!? :D Can you do that?

Somebody told me thought it was possible, but couldn't find anything. Never used the editor before though. Maybe an expert knows better?

This has been aske multiple times. However the only actual map I've heard about was one where you could set it to 10x speed, which is probably a bit extreme for what you're looking for. I think I haven't heard back from any of the others. So yeah, it's definitly possible (just have to change building/movement/attack/minimg spee etc.) but it souns like a lot of work.

Hey I have a technical problem. In the map editor where ever there are cliffs the lower ground beneath the cliff tears onto the cliff. Its all distorted and makes it almost impossible to create anything. Any help?

your probably have the "show hidden terrain cells" option on. To turn it off:

View->Show Terrain->Show Hidden Terrain Cells

or

press ctrl-t

So I added a photon cannon weapon to a nexus but I can't make it shoot from the top of the building. How do I do that ?

If you weren't new to TL I'd tell you to look it up yourself on Liquipedia, however I'm gonna make an exception and just say that it was Metropolis ^^

How can I control hostile units are placed on a map? Like I place red marines and blue marines but I want to control both sides of a battle.

Shared control Action trigger.
