lol.. I have already duplicated the behavior and the actor so that I could re-scale the field and range of the field. The power source Behavior only has those 2 actors. Deleting them would make the behavior do nothing. It would be empty. lol...
What I need is to edit the actors so that they don't display the field when selecting the building that hold them and only that. Not when you build or warp. I have no idea what this entails. IDK what half the values in the actor info mean. I even checked scmapster and other sites but they just took these terms that I don't understand and explained them with other terms that I don't understand. I've tried looking for a field that involves some selection or something but I'm completely lost.

I'm definitely not going to nominate this for the "best buildorder map" award as it is still rough around the edges. But I've been putting a build order tool into my current mod

Just search for SALT and click on the normal starcraft menu in-game or press F10 (default menu hotkey for SC2)

Hi everyone. I'm creating a 1v3 map designed for hybrids vs TZP. I'm using protoss structures as hybrid tech, but when I try to put in a new command card, only existing commands are available (spawn zealot, marine, etc).
How can I allow a warp-gate to warp in, or at least spawn, a hybrid unit?

If your going to be doing anything decent amount of work in the data/trigger editor it's best for youhead over to sc2mapster. As for your question you will need to create and add the build button for your hybrid unit it to the warpin ability on the warpgate unit itself. You need to both add the ability to the gate unit as well as put it in the command card.

The HotS editor is giving me massive grief:
I create a new map with the default Swarm dependencies. Zerus Tileset.
This is where the first issue comes in. Zerus Cliff 1's mesh is all white--no texture. That's okay, because I intend to replace it with a manmade cliff anyhow. However, the Monlyth cliff that I choose has no mesh at all.
Daelaam Ark manmade cliffs work in that I can place them and they look fine. However, when I try to copy/paste, I get the message
[12/29/2012 9:57:55 PM] Warning: Unable to paste terrain cliffs: 'Daelaam Ark Manmade Cliffs' does not exist in this map's cliff set. Why is this happening? I do notice that in the data editor there are copies of all the WoL texture sets prefixed with "outdated" but I don't know if that's supposed to be like that.

Does anyone know how they created the 'cloaked' maps for the TSL? Meaning, how they broke the score screens so people couldn't look at match histories to see build orders or game results.

Question for those w the HotS editor:
Are any more BW units / campaign units that were not in WoL available to be used in the editor? I am wondering specifically if the Dragoon, Reaver, Queen (flying), Defiler, Guardian, and Arbiter will be making an appearance in the HotS campaign files...

Hi, first poster here so honestly I'm slightly afraid of getting warned but I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the camera angles while watching a replay.
Example (at around 0:19-0:20 I realize they are probably using the starcraft 2 map editor in this video and not using actual replays but since I wasn't really sure what other thread to post this to I decided to try this one):

I want to create timed life destructable rocks like on Arkanoid, it all works except I don't know how to add the progress bar that indicates when rhey are going to blow, any idea on how to do it?
I basically created a behaviour of 15 minutes and put as final action suicide but I am lost how to create the rpogress bar.

Look in the behavior under status bar i believe
