Since you don't get vision when you get attacked, you have to sit there like a bitch and take it while terran comfortably lift-expands to his high ground expo. If every terran would take advantage of this, I'd be pretty fucked. Same applies for LT, but at least marines and vikings can't kill your mineral lines off, so terran gotta get a tank out, so its a little bit better for Z. | ||

I am suprised at the statements that it is easy to take an expansion on Kulas Ravine, though. It is so easy to abuse the fact that there are two ways into your natural. That said, I do tend to wall off one of them with pylons for that reason.  While I agree that Desert Oasis is the worst map out of the 1v1 mappool, I do not think everything about it is bad. Infact, since the ground distance is so significantly longer then the air distance, I find that it really encourages unorthodox play. Like GTR, though, I am waiting for Twisted Peak to be included. While it received a lot of criticisms when it was originally unveiled, I think that map has a lot of potential. But we will have to see how it does in practice first. | ||
