Great initiative
Some pointers that might be helpful for your next edition;
Typography; lacks some consistency, the cover from #1 was better in that regard; try limiting the usage of different fonts. Overall I'm missing hierarchy and rhythm in font sizes; check out http://www.markboulton.co.uk/journal/comments/five-simple-steps-to-better-typography for some insight on this. Making the body text a few points smaller or increasing the leading would improve the readability a lot for instance.
Layout; making a consistent grid for the entire thing would help immensely I feel. This would also give you the opportunity to create white space and place imagery more easily, since most pages feel somewhat cramped and space between columns could be smaller. Some research on typographic grids could take it to another level.

The Liquid'Ret quote on page 12 goes a bit off the page, so its not completely readable.

Decent issue. Lots of grammar and punctuation issues, as well as repetitive phrases, but otherwise a good read.

I just got done reading pony tales 2 and i must say i thuroughly (i don't know if thats spelled right sound it out thx ) enjoyed it. My favorite part skindzer article was very compelling a must read! Once again thank you team liquid for providing me with more great content your the best!
