If I could make one small suggestion though, could you add a blank page in at page 2 please? For pdf readers like the one I use (Foxit Reader), you have the option to view 2 pages at a time, side-by-side. However, unless there is an extra page put in after the cover page, then the pages dont sync up as they should, so the numerous double page spreads don't match up. Just adding an extra blank page at page 2 will completely fix that issue though. | ||

Some pointers that might be helpful for your next edition; Typography; lacks some consistency, the cover from #1 was better in that regard; try limiting the usage of different fonts. Overall I'm missing hierarchy and rhythm in font sizes; check out http://www.markboulton.co.uk/journal/comments/five-simple-steps-to-better-typography for some insight on this. Making the body text a few points smaller or increasing the leading would improve the readability a lot for instance. Layout; making a consistent grid for the entire thing would help immensely I feel. This would also give you the opportunity to create white space and place imagery more easily, since most pages feel somewhat cramped and space between columns could be smaller. Some research on typographic grids could take it to another level. Hope this helps, love the work you guys put into this and look forward to the next release | ||

Do you think that SC2 will eventually tailor more to teams and things like that? I hope so. Also groups and leagues like the Collegiate StarLeague are really a shining hope for the longevity of the game. I'm no pro, but it gives me something to continue to practice for and enjoy playing for. Ladder means nothing to me, which is a nice state of mind, and winning CSL matches does. NEU FIGHTING! | ||

Honestly that was very impressive and looked so pro.Thank you very much and thanks to the contributors. Must have been a lot of work. About the esports article. I totally feel you. I'm no esports nor BW expert but I would love to see some kind of Global Proleague, involving Korean teams as well as foreign teams. (EG, Fnatic, you name it). It all comes down to sponsors to allow teams to secure a steady ground in South Korea and to get a solid roster. You are right, we need more players and viewers! Sc2 is so easy to play and got so much eye candy that I can't help but remain optimistic | ||

While the first proteams were made around a few stars that would give the sponsor notoriety, the modern teams could accomplish this without the need for major figures, relying instead in good coaching and a well balanced rooster. When I read that, I imagined a rooster in the booth for no reason. Couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes. | ||

As a marketer, I found myself disagreeing with quite a few statements in there, both regarding SC2 and "traditional" sports. In a nutshell, the way I would have gone about it would have been by focusing on the cultural acceptance and the role played by Blizzard. Once again, I dont mean to diss it, unfotunately to me it just reads as something written without a proper knowledge of marketing practices. | ||

Summing up, the "We need to show Starcraft to people and let them know ANYONE can play and enjoy it. I don’t want Starcraft to be a game for the elite ; I want it to be a sport, for the people." is basically not relevant imho. I think it should be a rather less exciting and more pragmatic "We need to hope Blizzard is successfull in making SC2 acceptable enough to make it part of mainstream culture more than it already is". I do realize this explanation is not comprehensive and, trust me, I could write thousands on words on this subject but I cannot right now. Maybe some time next year I actually will though, but it would be a marketing paper so I am not sure how intelligible it would be to the average TL user. | ||
