I refreshed Artosis' religiously during GSL, and if more pro players start using twitter that's definitely something I'd follow. Either way even if you don't like on the spot insight from pro players or immediate updates from Artosis, it doesn't really hurt you that it exists. Twitter has its uses and a lot of people on TL enjoy it for those reasons. We don't all follow random hollywood celebrities talking about how they just went grocery shopping.. There's a lot of valuable SC2 stuff on there that is very relevant to the community here. The key thing is that even if none of these things are for you is that looking at some icons should not bother anyone, and the knowledge that there are others who enjoy it can only help.

I don't use Twitter or FB myself, but those icons don't bother me at all.

Not that I mind either way, more exposure to TL is good.

Not that I mind either way, more exposure to TL is good. Please read the thread before posting. There is NO, I repeat, NO Facebook integration. Let me quote Rich from the previous page (is it really to much to ask to read at least the last two pages of comments before reacting??). So as you can see the situation between Blizzard and TL is very different. On November 20 2010 07:02 R1CH wrote: To clear up some confusion that some of you have, there is no "integration" of facebook at all. All you are seeing is an image that links to the facebook sharing URL. Facebook can't "track" you visiting TL or anything like that. I purposefully avoided using any buttons / links that required loading any javascript that could interact with the page - in fact, the reddit button has more "integration" than facebook since it lets you vote on submissions without leaving TL.
