In the example game, from which they base their build off... The toss who does the "korean 4 gate all in" fails at placing the pylons. Once a few pylons goes down, you can't take them down in time. Build isn't reliable, as the example you are showing off is a standard 4-5 gate all in with proxy pylon (not in base, but out side) :/ Pylon goes down in your base, with only 1 stalker and a sentry to block it, and you are DEAD.

This lead to some interesting experimentation with 4-gate styles against zerg and terran also.

The point of this response, is to have enough dps to kill pylons (or at least make a dent, and force more pylons), and also to be able to protect your probes against the inevtible zealots or stalkers. If you have 4 stalkers versus his 4 zealots (with more warping in) you are lost. You will want to target pylons beside your minerals first, zealots warped directly in your mineral line will almost always lose you the game. Usuallly, you will kill all the pylons in your base, and the other player will see your zealot sentry mix and warp in 4 stalkers to start. Use the sentry to forcefield as necessary, and start to add stalkers. The ramp forcefields are crucial and can turn an even fight, into a won game. Key Points: -gateway production to kill pylons and to delay 4 warpgate until your own warpgates kick in EDIT: added a rep ![]()
