If you are in the QT and you believe that the Dandel thing is going to happen, you don't claim mafia in the thread or out members of it, do you? Wave either believes it's happening, in which case he would be modkilled for outing himself as mafia AND Obi eventually and Wave knows this. Or: Wave thinks (or knows) the Dandel thing isn't real. Therefore, Wave should have no problem outing members of his QT, especially if he thinks they are acting suspicious. Which is a ridiculous premise anyway because Wave's only reason for scum reading Obi is from the QT so he would have had to out that reasoning eventually. If you were originally town and didn't believe the Dandel thing was happening, you're playing anti-town. You don't know whether the Dandel thing is coming to fruition => Wave has claimed he is mafia in it and that's he's got two other people in it => you should be very mad at wave and request a modkill from the host OR draw a conclusion from wave outing that he KNOWS there will be no repercussions and then tell the thread that So, the people in the QT either willingly witheld information, which is anti-town. Were unsure of Wave being town or not (but none of them have even hinted at following through with any kind of information like that) or thought they were going to flip mafia and were complacent doing nothing. I use a lot of rhetoric and you know I do that. There is no false dichotomy, there is no forever branding someone mafia (did we eliminate wave for example? No.) | ||

Why would wave gamble the entire game on a guess instead of waiting and seeing what happens? The likeliest scenario is that Wave knew what happens with the power and adjusted accordingly. I don't think he's a dick and I really don't think he'd chance ruining the game on the off chance that Dandel's power didn't happen. Even if he thought we'd have to eliminate Hapa for Dandel to come into power then he's STILL ruining the game potentially if we did vote hapa. So, it makes me think the way more likely scenario is that Dandel and Wave are either mafia together and Wave knew what was going to happen or that Wave is mafia and knew that the power wouldn't fundamentally alter the game and maybe he'd get a little credit for outing himself as "mafia". | ||
