Those can be the same, they can be different, they can be in any order as long as they're withing 1 to 10 and it's only 2 numbers. The first number determines your rank within drafts, the 2nd number determines your rank within ties. To determine your rank within the drafts there are two things that are going to be considered: 1) Uniqueness of the number 2) The lower number gets first. 1) gets applied first and afterwards 2) gets applied. If we have ties we're doing the same with the 2nd number. If we're having ties within ties I'm rolling a dice for the lulz. Example with 10 people. I know we're only having 8 players, but it's for the sake of the example: 1 picked: [1,1] 2 picked: [1,2] 3 picked: [1,1] 4 picked: [2,1] 5 picked: [1,3] 6 picked: [1,3] 7 picked: [2,1] 8 picked: [1,3] 9 picked: [4,10] 10 picked: [1,7] Step 1: Checking for uniquenes: Was picked once: [1,2], [4,10], [1,7] Was picked twice: [2,1], [1,1] Was picked three times (whatever that's called): [1,3] Step 2: Lower first number gets first spot withing same uniqueness: [1,2], [4,10], [1,7] => [1,2], [1,7], [4,10] [2,1], [1,1] => [1,1] [2,1] [1,3] => [1,3] The combinations [1,2] and [1,7] are still treated equally high in drafting though. Step 3: Lower second number gets first spot within ties: => 1) guy who picked [1,2] 2) guy who picked [1,7] 3) guy who picked [4,10] 4 and 5) guy who picked [1,1] 4 and 5) guy who picked [1,1] 6 and 7) guy who picked [2,1] 6 and 7) guy who picked [2,1] 8+9+10) guy who picked [1,3] 8+9+10) guy who picked [1,3] 8+9+10) guy who picked [1,3] Step 4: Awesome randomness to figure out who gets spot 4 and who gets to be 5 / who gets to be 6 and who gets to be 7 / who gets to be 8, 9 and 10. As mentioned. You have 24 hours to send me your numbers. Once that is done you have another 24 hours to pick your charecters. I am going to publish the drafts but I don't want you to talk about it or your picks. You're picking charecters and a first stage in privacy. For those who haven't got it yet: Yes your picking role and stage before you know your alignment You can start sending numbers to me now and you've got time until 22:30 GMT (+00:00). That's roughly 24 hours and 5 minutes left. | ||

DAY 1 ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/zN2H1.jpg) After all the troubles Liquidia had, the first normal evening in a while beginns. The town was in big troubles recently: A bunch of italian mafioso infiltrated the the town and tried to wipe out the entire population. A lot of people died and the town was devastated by the final showdown of mafiosis fighting against townies. In the end the town managed to pull through and managed to uncover all of the mafiosis in time and lynched them all to make sure their town could exist for many more years that are yet to come. A lot of people died, mostly very honored and outspoken people and although it was a win for the remaining citizens as they stood alive it was a tragic day. Ever since that day people worked hard to rebuild what was destroyed duiring that fight. Shops, houses and even the town hall were deserted either because mafias killed the owners of those shops, the families living in those houses and even the mayor Qatol died during that onslaught. But not today. Today was a day of laughter. A lot of people died, but today the people alive gathered to celebrate their victory to forget about all the horrible things that happened a week ago. Today the remaining citizens gathered to kick ass and play the best game of them all: Super Smash Bros You are those remaining citizens but something's wrong. The new mayor Foolishness lost all 3 stock within a heartbeat because a group of people went for him all together. Soon after that Greymist lost his 3 stocks as well and so did ghost_403 followed by Toadesstern. It only took a second and Toadesstern was raging mad, screaming: "Wtf is wrong with you guys. I'm on your team, you're not supposed to kill me! Seriously guys, I don't even win when we're trying to screw them? What is wrong with you guys..." and it became apparent that some of the townies are trying to sabotage this game of Super Smash Bros.. Foolishness the new Mayor lost all his 3 stock within a heartbeat Greymist the Townie was kicked out of the arena a bunch of times Ghost_403 the Townie was meteorkicked into nothingness Toadesstern the Sore looser got killed by his teammates IT IS NOW DAY 1. Couple things: First off, if you didn't get your first pick, claim what your first pick was. That only narrows your role doawn to 11/12 possibilities and gives us a good sense of whos playing in the game. Kirby, you're a supercop. Abuse the hell out of it. Cephiro is Kirby. Link: Go ahead and just throw out a bomb as often as you can. Worst case scenario someone picks it up and you blow them up, ezpz. If Cephiro is scum, we play on Hyrule Castle. Otherwise, we play on Zebes. This gives us a bonus lynch every day, gotta have that. There are 2 pikachus. There are no Luigis. | ||

 I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on having the item area selections being randomly generated for everyone. The way I see it, if everyone just picks whatever area they feel like on their own, mafia has an advantage in the item grabbing as they know what their partner will pick and can thus pick different areas to maximize their chances. And I know someone is going to bring up the point of "won't that easily expose mafia, so we should just let them do it". I don't think that's the case since not only are there six areas and only eight characters so the chances of areas having multiple people aren't all that high. So it'll be difficult to identify possible partnerships that way. Secondly, I think the item selection is fairly similar to a PYP number selection scenario (in terms of motivation). Mafia know that if they behave in the optimal way all the time, there's a chance of them being exposed. So they'll probably throw in a "both characters in the same area" at least once. It'd be nice if someone could think of a good way to pick random numbers publicly though. The way that Palmar picked random player orderings might be nice, if someone has a web page and some scripting knowledge. So we could have just have like a script that runs at like 18:00 KST or some set time like that and outputs people randomly into item areas. | ||
