The DT claim was trying to make up for it and try to draw some hits, but it didn't really work. I will take any criticism, especially on my analysis of wbg, because I really want to improve my play. Also, how do you people (wbg, Palmar, others who generally are loud) get town to listen to you? I know that the way I played this game definitely wasn't the way to do that, but do you guys have any advice for convincing people of things? wbg: I can see that aggressiveness sometimes works, but your play this game kinda alienated some of the newer players and even me. I think my analysis on you may have even been something to try to get those players to post more, but who knows what I was thinking at that time (lol fucking brain. Now that I know you were town I can't explain my actions lololol) newer players: I hope that you don't use this as the example of a normal TL mafia game, because it really isn't. I hope that at least some of you will play more in the future. Maybe then we can do this type of game again with 80 experienced players, which should be very, very fun. Mods: I can see that you did your best to balance this game, but there are a few overlooks in the setup: too much dependence on blue roles and too many mafia (1:4 ratio seems very scum-favored, generally games are around 1:5. this may not seem like a big difference, but in a game this big, that's 3-4 less Mafia) None of this is your fault though, as a game like this has been played in a very long time.

So apologies for my lackluster play and retarded actions I didn't think through all the way (like my vote switch to Palmar).

However, I figured people from my last game (where I was mafia) would notice I wasn't playing the same and thus figure out I was town. Didn't work that way, as BC seemed to be the only person to catch on to that. *shrug* So apologies for my lackluster play and retarded actions I didn't think through all the way (like my vote switch to Palmar). That's honestly just kinda weird.

I don't really care enough to get into actual arguments and be called a retard for a couple weeks in the future. Maybe a smaller game will yield greater results That doesn't normally happen in a mafia game. There are a few stubborn players, and a few rude players, but in general things progress pretty civilized. I highly recommend trying out a smaller setup, preferably a 20-30 player game. On December 03 2011 12:03 Ace wrote: No, the burden of the blame rests on the mods for why the game played out this way. People played like shit but the setup was a large part of the blame. Look at the OP and seriously ask yourself what weakness does the Mafia have. I really wish some of you mods would just sit down, get out a fucking pencil and WRITE out how you want the game to proceed. Then ask yourself if the roles you've included help or hurt that goal. Why are rolecops even listed in the OP. They are USELESS. Why are Detectives in the game? You've got Godfathers, Framers, Miller, Roleblockers AND you throw in unconfirmed sanities too. Seriously - who the fuck thought that was a good idea? Millers and GFs alone are enough to screw up detectives, but you want sanities and framers too. Good job, as if 8 KP and a Sheriff aren't enough to permanently shut down any role claimed Detective. I could go on about the worthless Vigilantes, Lurker Banes, lack of good protective roles and the worst part of all - listing the Mafia roles with equivalent Town roles. I'll leave it here and wait for whichever one of you jackasses decided it was a good idea to let my name get sullied. I'm WAITING to hear a good fucking explanation. There's no need to be mean Ace. If you have valid criticism(which you may very well have) then offer it constructively without the vitriol. We're a community of players and we all make mistakes.
