6-3 is good because it requires scum by default to get 3 mislynches. Any more is really really harsh - having to mislynch half of the townie pool is hard as it is.

You could try 7-3 for an in-between.

You'd have to enforce voting pretty strictly in this setup because No-lynches can't really be allowed with no NK.

"Vengeful" is optional or mandatory? I feel like optional might be pretty cool in this setup.

PS: a cool 3rd party win-con might be: Get revenge-shot but not lynched. Would take some skill to either: arrange the lynch of somebody who thinks you are scummy, OR get the current lynch candidate convinced that you are the best venge shot. Although I suppose simply by leading town to a scum lynch you would achieve this which might make it too easy.

Feel free to ignore all my ideas, I'm pretty sure they are terrible. I'm just having fun here.

It would be optional - allows for more creative plays.

I'll have to think about a 3rd party. Normally I don't like them, but it might be a good way to balance the game.

I'll say that this game mode seems uniquely punishing of bad town, given how a single really bad town player can use up 2 "mislynches" AND doesn't give town any info because town doesn't know if he flips scum or what (especially since they may know that he shot a townie, which would point to him being scum).

Not that that is a bad thing.

After more thought, I can't think of how you would fit in a 3rd party with any kind of reasonable win con given the no night kill setup, but maybe somebody else can think of a good one

I think 6-3 with non-optional vengeful shots is the most balanced.

5-3, as pointed at, could be a one cycle game.

6-3 with vengeful shots will always keep mafia at the same mislynch deficit if they die.

3rd Party with a X-shot day roleblock (via PM) that stops Vengeful kills. Lots of tears will follow.

Well, Death Factory Mafia can be seen as a no unvote game, but it is a very VERY different setup.

In MTG you could still change targets after "voting" with your creatures, you just couldn't just unvote only.

Schrödinger's Mafia

Two mafia teams which are unaware of each other's existence. Both have 1 KP, each night one team's hit goes through and the other one doesn't, random every night.

Add in a bus driver or two so it takes longer for people to figure this out
