WE didn't rely on someone else to make it out of groups
They went 5-1, inting one game to TSM and never looked like they would lose in the rest.
C9's competition was SKT, EDG with actor Scout and AHQ and they barely made it out.
Of course I guess you might consider group A to be harder overall if you make the concession that TSM fucking sucks. But then again, going off of that, what does that make C9, who were several leagues below TSM in NA all year?

some interesting stuff lol
WE liking kog over trist
jensen sol
and impact shen after CT saying any normal team would perma ban it from impact and how good he's been on shen

C9 has such a huuuuge lead right now holy shit.
|
C9 is just incredibly far ahead right now.
It's going to be super hard for the scaling comp to come back from this kind of deficit.

SKT dropped a game to AHQ and EDG started with an 0-3 shit week. Barely making it out requires a tiebreaker, C9 didn't need one.
We've seen over and over that some teams gain more out of bootcamps than others.

They depended on SKT beating EDG. You can argue that was an expected outcome, but if SKT lost C9 probably wouldn;t be here right now

The catchup XP in the jungle is obscene here. Contracts is like 2k gold ahead of COndi but levels are the same. So dumb.
Contractz really needed Warrior this game. They are so close to bursting kids.

Thing is, unlike C9's games against SKT, expecting EDG to win based on how the games went wasn't entirely unreasonable. C9 were at best the third team in Group A, and it's showing in their performance here after WE did everything wrong early game

No partial credit in groups.

2 crit items gives Mystic 12 straight crits. OK.

Rough. C9 completely won the early game. WE completely won the midgame. Ugh.
|
C9's inability to press their lead was painful to watch

Well like they say in racing, the only lap that counts is the last one. C9 looks very competitive here though. I like what I am seeing so far.
