Oh man. I don't usually watch LCS, I just watch LCK and LPL, but I'm starting to think I may have ranked the regions wrong. NA might just be better than China or Europe.

If TSM and C9 advance, that'd be the biggest surprise to me.

I don't even like EDG and I'm heartbroken
Americans don't like to use unblockables, it is considered not honest. You press a button at the wrong time and hit the other person, you are random, not a top player. You DP Sim's far fierce, it is random and not honest.

If you think about it, your bets were against each other, either you win both or lose both. Very little room in between.

I'm still hoping EDG will pull off a miracle. But destroying SKT twice in the early game is a really far fetched dream.

NA looking like the second best region so far.

I don't think so. You don't expect IMT or C9 to beat LZ or SKT. Those games are already "counted losses"; it's more of a question if SKT and LZ can go 6-0 and if SSG can go 5-1. For NA, it leans both on C9 or IMT scrubbing out and going 1-5 or 2-5 and TSM going 4-2. C9 being 2-1 is a surprise; TSM looking untouchable in their group is a surprise.

I probably could've shaved a bit more and put the NA line at 9.5 and KR at 14.5 and people might've taken them. But as an ineteresting bet, neither really fits. Part of the fun of ban bets is to be betting on something that's possible but not probable. You take the 40-45% bet and then rub it in if you win. If you lose... then it's expected.

I would have given 16 as the line for KR

I don't think TSM being untouchable in their group is a surprise if you watch all the regions play.

Idk, WE and Flashwolves are good, but they also are very inconsistent and have a lot of weaknesses. TSM is pretty much just solid as hell, and while they used to have a huge weakness Top, hauntzer seems to have been getting better every day. I think Flame and Impact coming to NA helped him immensely.

That said, I didn't expect Hauntzer to body kids as hard, and I expected Sven to be less... Int-y. LOL.

I'm also not surprised persay about C9 being 2-1; I think they have a solid as hell team, but I'd say they are only "on" like 20% of the time. C9's peak is as high or higher than TSM's IMO... they just spend a lot of time in ClownFiesta land. I;m not surprised at all, but I'd say it was unexpected for sure.

I'd agree with that. But in a vacuum, in terms of level of play domestically, TSM as a club should 6-0 that group, imo.

From what I've seen I'd say best region so far, the korean teams in the individual games haven't been as consistently dominating through the entirety as usual.

If the standings stay as if I'm looking at a 100% pick'em. :D

This was only a surprise if you haven't seen Fnatic play since Huni and Reignover were on the team.

Two of the groups I have look good, but I placed EDG and Fnatic 2nd in their groups, and they're kinda last . I still Fnatic will somehow push through though.

Not really true. Last year the KR teams all lost games in group stage, Tigers even lost two games. They all ended first in their groups, but they weren't invincible. Only in the playoffs did they really start rolling over opponents. I'm expecting something similar this year, SKT might very well lose another surprise game, RNG might even be first seed.
